「結果はポジティブ」日本戦で同点ゴールのU-24スペイン代表MFソレールが振り返る

U-24スペイン代表のMFカルロス・ソレール(バレンシア)が、U-24日本代表戦を振り返った。スペインサッカー連盟(RFEF)が伝えた。17日、キリンチャレンジカップ2021でスペインは日本と対戦。来日後3日での試合となった中、本大会前のラストマッチに臨んだ。

ユーロ2020に出場した3選手やオーバーエイジの3選手を起用したスペインだったが、前半に久保建英の突破から堂安律にゴールを許し、ビハインドで前半を終える。
後半もスペインが押し込む中、途中出場したソレールは、ハビ・プアドのシュートに触れてコースを変え、同点ゴールを記録。試合は1-1の引き分けに終わった。

試合を振り返ったソレールは「得点できたことは嬉しいけど、重要なのはチームであり、結果はポジティブだ」とコメント。「今日、チームは引き分け以上のメリットを感じだと思う。大事なのは改善してエジプトとの初戦に備えることだ」と振り返り、良い調整と確認ができたテストマッチだったとした。
また、コンディション面は難しいものがあったと振り返り、「僕は5月23日以来、試合に出ていな買った。日本への適応、3日前の長旅、時差ボケなど多くのことがあった」とコメント。「体力的に100%の状態で臨むのは不可能だったけど、22日の初戦のことを考えると早く適応しなければならない」とし、オリンピック初戦に向けて準備したいと語った。

この試合はベンチスタートとなったソレール。チームには優れた選手が揃っており、誰もが先発できる能力があると語った。

「僕たちはとても優秀な選手がいるとても大きな代表チームであることを理解している。22人いるし、全員が先発できる。ベンチからの出場になった僕たちは、ベストを尽くそうとしてきた。ここからカウントダウンが始まる初戦に向けての感触をつかむことが目的だった」

スペインは22日、東京オリンピックの初戦でU-24エジプト代表と対戦する。

PSGがバレンシアの司令塔ソレールを獲得! ファビアンに続きスペイン代表が加入

「まだ泣くの早いって」と本田圭佑にツッコまれた日本代表サポーター、元Jリーガーの親友だった「親友が世界的にバズってて最高」

「本当に泣ける…」スペイン相手に劇的勝利、日本代表選手たちが勝利後のロッカー&バスで歌った曲は?久保建英がスピーカー持ってファンの前に
