試合を前に、エンリケ監督は、バルセロナのMFセルヒオ・ブスケッツが新型コロナウィルス陽性のため、離脱したことに言及。ゲームメーカー不在も自信を見せた。
「プランは同じだ。ここにいる選手たちは、私のアイデアを自分のものにしてくれた。欲を言えばブシがいてくれればよかったが、私は自分のチームと選手たちに満足している」

また、対戦相手のスウェーデン代表については「ゴールに対してかなり直接的に迫ってくるチームだ。彼らには非常に強力な選手、質の高い人材が揃っており、(デヤン・)クルゼフスキを失ったことで敏感になっている。我々が強みを出せるエリアにゲームを持っていくようにする」と警戒を強めた。
さらに、キャプテンを務めていたレアル・マドリーのDFセルヒオ・ラモスが負傷による選外のため、チームにリーダーシップを持つ選手がいないという見方に対しては「チームからそういった存在がいなくなったわけではない。私がリーダーだ。他のコーチも同様にね。もしそれが成り立たなければ、チームにとって悪い兆候だ」と反論した。

インテル・マイアミ、2026年に待望の新スタジアム完成へ…ベッカム氏「永続的な遺産を残したいという願いの集大成」

2月来日のインテル・マイアミが新ユニフォームを発表!モデルにはメッシも起用

息子の早産に悩んだダビド・シルバ「フットボールが唯一の拠り所だった」

▽マンチェスター・シティに所属する元スペイン代表MFダビド・シルバの息子誕生時の苦悩は、フットボールによって和らげられていたようだ。イギリス『BBC』のインタビューで語った内容を、スペイン『アス』が伝えた。 ▽昨年12月に息子マテオ君を授かったシルバ。しかし、予定よりかなり早い出産だったため、早産児としてしばらく入院することに。それから5か月を経て、マテオ君は今年5月にようやく退院することができた。 ▽出産直後の2試合を欠場していたシルバは、息子の退院報告とともにファンやチームメイトに謝罪。また、離脱を許可してくれたジョゼップ・グアルディオラ監督に対しては「永遠の借りがある」として、最大限の賛辞を送っていた。 ▽『BBC』のインタビューに応じ、息子誕生からの困難を振り返ったシルバは、フットボールが救いになったとコメントしている。 「あれは本当に困難だった」 「とてもタフだったよ。あの子はずっと病院に居たんだ。それに彼はスペインに居て、何度も(イングランドから)渡らなければならなかった。ほとんどトレーニングができなかったよ。あまり眠れなかったし、食べられなかった。だけど、幸いにもチームは本当に上手くやっていて、それがとても僕の助けになった」 「以前にも言ったけど、プレーしている時間が唯一心配を忘れられる時間だった。そして、試合が終われば色々なことを考え始めるんだ。本当に良い逃げ道だった。フットボールは僕らが最も好きで、最も楽しめるものだ」 ▽マンチェスター・シティは昨シーズン、最多勝利(32勝)、最多勝ち点(100ポイント)、最多得点(106点)記録を更新しプレミアリーグを制覇。その中心の1人に据えられていたシルバは、苦境の中でもチームの勢いを力に変えていたようだ。 2018.09.09 17:55 Sun

日本はスペイン&ドイツと同居、初戦はドイツ戦《カタールW杯》

21世紀の出場試合数ランキング発表! 首位は1145試合のC・ロナウド、トップ10に日本人選手がランクイン

トラップミスで“40m”オウンゴール許したスペイン新守護神に「信じられない」それでも好セーブ連発!
