レアル・マドリー所属のドイツ代表MFトニ・クロースは、今夏開催のユーロ2020を最後に代表から引退するようだ。スペイン『マルカ』が伝えた。
正確無比なキック精度を武器とするクロースは、バイエルンに所属していた2010年に代表デビューし、ここまで3度のワールドカップを経験。2014年のブラジル大会では優勝に貢献し、キャップ数は通算「101」となっている。
ドイツ『ビルト』によると、代表引退の理由は、マドリーでのプレーに集中したいためとのことだ。
なお、クロース本人は以前のインタビューで、レアル・マドリーとの現行契約が切れる2023年夏を目途に、現役引退を検討していると示唆。現役引退までの2年間はクラブに専念するという形になりそうだ。

ドイツサッカー界きってのカップル、フンメルス夫妻に離婚危機が浮上

「全くもってプロではなかった」浅野拓磨を見下した?リュディガーのステップをドイツ代表のレジェンドも問題視「相手を軽んじてはいけない」
