2021シーズンの明治安田生命J1リーグは2月26日に開幕。昨シーズンは降格がなくなったため、今シーズンは史上初となる20チームでのJ1リーグとなる。
第7弾は、昨シーズンの明治安田J1で14位に終わったヴィッセル神戸を紹介する。

選手の出入りに関してはさほど大きな動きを見せなかった神戸。それでも、DFダンクレー(→セレッソ大阪)、そしてDF西大伍(→浦和レッズ)と昨シーズンのレギュラーが退団したことは少なくない影響があるはず。控えながらも堅実なプレーとビルドアップでチームを支えたDF渡辺博文(→レノファ山口FC)もチームを去り、守備面では不安を抱える状況となるだろう。
横浜FCでセンターバックとして成長を遂げたDF小林友希が復帰、また西の代役にジュビロ磐田からDF櫻内渚を獲得したが、補強というよりは補充になっている状況。チームへのフィットも考え、プラスになるものを発揮できるかが重要となるだろう。
また、攻撃陣を見ても生え抜きのFW小川慶治朗が横浜FCへと移籍。武者修行をしていたMF増山朝陽がアビスパ福岡から復帰したが、J1での実績がないだけに小川の穴を埋められるかは未知数だ。

◆超WS編集部イチオシ新戦力
MF井上潮音(23)
編集部がイチオシしたい新戦力は、東京ヴェルディから加入したMF井上潮音だ。
東京Vの下部組織で育った井上は、2016年にトップチーム昇格。そのポテンシャルはトップクラスで、かつて指揮を執ったミゲル・アンヘル・ロティーナ監督(今季から清水エスパルス監督)はバルセロナのアルゼンチン代表FWリオネル・メッシに例えたほどだ。
線の細さが当初はあったものの、徐々にたくましさを増し、3年目の2018シーズンからはレギュラーに。そのスタイルはメッシというよりは、イニエスタに近く、周りの選手との連動と細かなパスワークでゲームを組み立て、チャンスを作るタイプの選手だ。
バランス感覚に優れている井上は、神戸の中盤を支えるイニエスタの他、MF山口蛍、MFセルジ・サンペールとも相性は良いはず。周りを生かせる術を持っているだけに、高いレベルで揉まれることで、その才能を開花させてもらいたい選手だ。
序盤戦は前述の通りイニエスタが不在となるだけに、イニエスタ級のプレーが求められることになるだろう。その中で、どれだけ力を発揮できるのか。初のJ1の舞台で通用するポテンシャルはあるが、実際のプレーで見せられるかに注目だ。
◆2021年期待のヒーロー

今シーズン期待するヒーローは、お約束でもあるがやはりMFアンドレス・イニエスタだろう。
昨シーズンのACLで負傷。検査の結果、右大腿直筋近位部腱断裂と診断され、全治は4カ月と言われている。そのまま日本には戻らず手術を実施。無事に終わったが、復帰はしばらく先となってしまう。
イニエスタ不在の間にどれだけチームが形を作り、勝利を収めることができるかは今シーズンのカギを握ることになるが、ケガから復帰したイニエスタのプレーはやはり神戸には欠かせないものとなる。
Jリーグファンならば誰もが魅了されてしまうイニエスタのプレー。まさに“ヒーロー”にふさわしい選手だが、キャリアも終盤に差し掛かっての大ケガから復活し、元の輝きを見せてくれることは誰でも期待してしまうだろう。

まるで日本人!? イニエスタファミリー、桜が恋しくなったインスタ投稿が話題「いつでも歓迎」「忘れないでいてくれてありがとう」

来日5年‥家族も2人増えたイニエスタの妻が改めて心境を綴る「この冒険を一緒に生き続けることは光栄です!」

エゴと献身性の相反する能力を持ち合わせたアフリカ最高のストライカー、サミュエル・エトー

「昔も今も変わらない」「2人とも大好き」引退の田中順也がモデルの妻・宇井愛美さんとの結婚10周年を祝う「本当にありがとう」

来日5年‥家族も2人増えたイニエスタの妻が改めて心境を綴る「この冒険を一緒に生き続けることは光栄です!」
