ユーロ出場を逃したセルビア代表、トゥンバコビッチ監督の退任を発表

セルビアサッカー連盟(FSS)は14日、リュビシャ・トゥンバコビッチ監督(68)の退任を発表した。なお、後任に関しては年末までに発表するとのことだ。

トゥンバコビッチ監督は、2019年7月に解任されたムラデン・クルスタイッチ前監督の後任としてセルビア代表の指揮官に就任。1勝1分け1敗と低迷していたユーロ2020予選では、就任後の5試合で3勝1分け1敗と立て直すもグループ3位でプレーオフへ。

そのプレーオフでは、準決勝でノルウェー代表を下して決勝進出。しかし、11月12日に行われた決勝のスコットランド戦ではPK戦で敗戦。ユーロ2020の出場を逃していた。

また、11月18日に終了したUEFAネーションズリーグ2020-21のグループリーグは、1勝3分け2敗の3位に終わり、リーグB残留となっていた。

ストイコビッチ監督が契約延長! 2026年までセルビア代表を指揮…セルビアになってから初のユーロ出場を控える
