セルビアサッカー協会(FSS)がドラガン・ストイコビッチ監督のプレーを紹介している。
セルビアは27日、ユーロ2024予選グループG第2節でモンテネグロ代表とアウェイで対戦。グループステージ初戦をともに勝利した元同国対決となったが、FWドゥシャン・ヴラホビッチの2ゴールで2-0と勝利を収めた。
主役となったのはもちろんユベントスのストライカーだが、FSSはヴラホビッチのゴールのみならず、ストイコビッチ監督のプレーも紹介。テクニカルエリアから革靴でボールを蹴り返す瞬間をピックアップした。
現役時代と変わらない技術には「最高!」、「私たちのレジェンド」、「まだプレーできる」、「ピクシー・オン・ファイア」などの感嘆が上がった。
ピクシーの愛称で知られるストイコビッチ監督は、名古屋グランパスエイト(現:名古屋グランパス)でもプレーし、同クラブの指揮官も務めた。2010年には名古屋を初のJ1制覇に導き、選手として観衆を魅了したのはもちろん、伝説のプレーとして語り継がれているのは、監督時代に決めた幻のロングシュートだろう。
2009年10月17日、日産スタジアムで行われたJリーグディビジョン1第29節横浜F・マリノス戦。1-1で迎えた85分、負傷者が出たために横浜FMのGK榎本哲也がピッチ外へボールを蹴り出すと、ストイコビッチ監督はベンチから飛び出し、ノーバウンドでのキック。蹴り返されたボールは鮮やかな弧を描き、ゴールへ吸い込まれた。
当時は廣瀬格主審に退席処分を命じられたストイコビッチ監督だったが、モンテネグロ戦では謝罪のゼスチャーもあってはお咎めなしで済んだようだ。

アヤックスのセルビア代表FWドゥシャン・タディッチが、とてつもない数字に到達した。国際サッカー連盟(FIFA)が公式サイト内で伝えている。
タディッチは、エールディビジで268試合に出場。通算116ゴール134アシストの結果を残し、合計250ゴールに関与すると言う、とてつもない数字に到達した。
現在はアヤックスでプレーしているタディッチだが、2014年から2018年までプレミアリーグのサウサンプトンでもプレーしており、シャルケの日本代表DF吉田麻也とも共にプレーしている。
サウサンプトン時代には1試合4アシストを記録し、プレミアリーグの1試合での最多アシスト数タイの記録を残しているほどの実力の持ち主だ。
今シーズンのエールディビジでもアシストを量産しており、ランキング2位の選手に5アシスト差をつけ、17アシストで1位となっている。
このまま行けば、タディッチは5シーズン連続でのエールディビジのアシスト王に輝くこととなる。

ラツィオのセルビア代表MFセルゲイ・ミリンコビッチ=サビッチ(28)は、今夏がステップアップのラストチャンスとなりそうだ。
ここ5〜6年、夏の移籍市場が近づくたびにビッグクラブ移籍が噂されるミリンコビッチ=サビッチ。ラツィオはクラウディオ・ロティート会長が莫大な額の移籍金を要求することによって引き留めに成功してきたが、今夏ばかりはそうもいかない可能性が高いとみられている。
イタリア『カルチョメルカート』によると、ミリンコビッチ=サビッチは契約が2024年6月までとなっているなか、延長の申し出を拒否。対するロティート会長に白旗を振るつもりはなく、契約解除金を設定したうえで年俸を400万ユーロ(約5億9000万円)に引き上げるという前提のもと、シーズン終了まで話し合いを延期しているとのことだ。
選手本人も8年間在籍するラツィオに愛着があり、決して今夏の退団ありきではないものの、気づけば28歳となり、新たな旅に出る必要性に駆られている模様。2023-24シーズンが終わるころには20代最後の1年となっており、今夏をビッグクラブ移籍のラストチャンスだと捉えているようだ。
一方で、虎視眈々と獲得のチャンスを窺うユベントス、ミランにロティート会長を満足させるだけの資金力があるわけではないのも事実。深刻な財政難にあえぐユベントスはさておき、ミランも収支バランスに気を使いながらやりくりしている状況であり、実際に優先順位はチェルシーの元イングランド代表MFルベン・ロフタス=チーク(27)より下だという。
ロティート会長がミリンコビッチ=サビッチの年齢も考慮したうえで要求額を4000万ユーロ(約59億8000万円)以下に引き下げれば、ミランもチャレンジする可能性があるようだが、実現性は未知数といったところ。ラツィオにはここ数日でプレミアリーグのクラブからも照会依頼が舞い込んでおり、可能性としてはこちらの方が高いと見るのが妥当だろう。

セルビアサッカー協会(FSS)とプーマは27日、セルビア代表の新ユニフォームを発表した。
かつて名古屋グランパスで選手、監督として活躍したドラガン・ストイコビッチ監督が率いるセルビア。ユーゴスラビア代表、そしてセルビア・モンテネグロ代表として歩んできた中、ユーロ2008の予選からセルビア代表として活動開始。ユーロは2008年大会から4大会予選敗退が続いていた中、ユーロ2024にはセルビア代表として初めて出場する。
そのユーロ2024で着用することになる新ユニフォーム。赤を基調としたホームユニフォームは、鷲の翼をX線で表現したグラフィックで翼を広げ、ピッチ上でのチームの勇敢さと、スポーツと科学におけるセルビアの輝かしい伝統の両方を表現している。
一方、爽やかなホワイトをベースにブルーのアクセントを効かせたウェイユニフォームは、セルビアの自然と文化的な景観を称え、南セルビアのラダン山にある神秘的な岩層「Davolja Varoš(悪魔の町)」にインスパイアされた袖口を特徴としている。
このデザインについて、各国のユニフォームを紹介しているイギリス『FourFourTwo』は、ホームを「相手選手に恐怖を与える深い赤」、アウェイを「大会で最も優れたデザインの 1 つ」と評価している。
ユーロ2024では、イングランド代表、デンマーク代表、スロベニア代表と対戦するセルビア。このユニフォームでセルビア代表としてのユーロ初勝利と決勝トーナメント進出を目指す。

セルビアサッカー協会(SRB)は24日、セルビア代表のドラガン・ストイコビッチ監督(59)との契約延長を発表した。
ストイコビッチ監督はユーロ2024までだった契約を、2026年まで延長することとなった。
現役時代は名古屋グランパスでもプレーし、ツルヴェナ・ズヴェズダやマルセイユ、エラス・ヴェローナでもプレー。セルビア代表の英雄としても名を馳せると、ユーゴスラビアサッカー協会、セルビア・モンテネグロサッカー協会の会長を務め、古巣のツルヴェナ・ズヴェズダの会長も務めると、名古屋で初の監督に就任。中国の広州富力(広州城FC)でも指揮。2021年3月からセルビア代表の監督を務めている。
2022年のカタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)にも出場すると、2024年のユーロには24年ぶり、セルビアになってから初出場を果たすことに。その功績を評価し、2026年の北中米W杯まで任せることとなった。
正式には27日の実行委員会で承認されることになるという。
セルビア代表はユーロ2024ではグループCに入り、スロベニア代表、デンマーク代表、イングランド代表と同じグループに入っている。
