イングランドサッカー協会(FA)が10日、今月のA代表活動に向け、ドルトムントに所属するFWジュード・ベリンガムの追加招集を発表した。

ベリンガムの招集はサウサンプトンのMFジェームズ・ウォード=プラウズ、リバプールでプレーするDFトレント・アレクサンダー=アーノルドの負傷不参加に伴うもの。今月の代表ウィークでU-21イングランド代表の招集を受けたベリンガムだったが、追加招集という形で初のA代表入りを果たした。

17歳のベリンガムは複数有力クラブから人気を博した今夏、チャンピオンシップ(イングランド2部相当)のバーミンガム・シティからドルトムント入り。DFBポカール1回戦のデュイスブルク(ドイツ3部)戦でデビュー即ゴールのインパクトを残すと、ここまで公式戦10試合に出場している。
イングランドは今月の代表ウィークで3試合が組まれ、12日にロンドンで予定する国際親善試合のアイルランド代表戦後、UEFAネーションズリーグの戦いに。15日にベルギー代表とのアウェイ戦に臨み、18日にアイスランド代表をホームに迎え撃つ。

「ニールセン・グレースノート」は出場する選手の中での、インフルエンサーとしてのランキングを発表。フォロワーやフォロワーの増加、エンゲージメント率など、インスタグラム上の投稿ごとの平均ブランド価値を評価してランキングを発表した。 トップ10が発表され、実に9カ国の選手がランクイン。アメリカ女子代表のみが唯一2選手がランクインしている。 1位に輝いたのは、アストン・ビラでプレーするスイス女子代表のアリーシャ・レーマン。世界一セクシーなアスリートとしても知られ、インスタグラムのフォロワーは1340万人。元プロテニスプレーヤーのロジャー・フェデラーを超え、インスタグラムで最も人気のあるスイス人アスリートとなっている。 イングランド代表のユニフォームが変? ファンが気づいた異変はベテランキットマンのまさかのミス…「間違ってしまった」

イングランド代表の選手に歴代選手数が書かれた“レガシーキャップ”をプレゼント!最新は1262番
