9月30日に行われたDFLスーパーカップでドルトムントと対戦したバイエルンはMFコランタン・トリソとMFトーマス・ミュラーのゴールで2点リード。MFユリアン・ブラント、FWアーリング・ハーランドのゴールで同点に追いつかれたが、82分にDFヨシュア・キミッヒが勝ち越しゴールを決めて、3-2の勝利を収めた。

2年ぶり8度目の優勝を果たしたフリック監督は、勝利が何よりも重要だったとタイトル獲得を喜んだ。
「今日は勝利だけが重要だった。それが我々の目標だった。それを達成できた。だから、チームを褒め称えたい。彼らがプレーしなければいけない試合はたくさんある。だから、自分たちで勝ちを決めることも重要だ」

「その一方でチームはメンタリティや、特定のレベルを示せた。特に後半は簡単ではなかった。2-0でリードしていたし、それに値していたと思う。それから我々は何個かのミッションや役割で困難になった。もっと上手くやらなければいけなかった」

レンヌの新星デジレ・ドゥエにビッグクラブがこぞって関心…バイエルンの1stオファーは拒絶
