サッカーのプレーの中で最も目を惹くのはやはりゴールだろう。しかし、時には得点者だけではなく、そのゴールをお膳立てしたラストパスが脚光を浴びるべき場合もある。今回の企画『Best Assist』(最高のアシスト)では、これまでに生まれた素晴らしいアシストを紹介していく。今回はバルセロナのブラジル代表MFフィリペ・コウチーニョがリバプール時代に記録したアシストだ。
2013年1月に加入したリバプールで大ブレイクを果たしたコウチーニョ。優れたパスセンスとパンチのあるミドルシュートで多くの得点を生み出し、“小さなマジシャン”としてファンから愛された。
2018年夏にバルセロナに移籍するまで、リバプール攻撃陣を牽引していたコウチーニョだが、2017年7月29日に行われた、ヘルタ・ベルリンとのプレシーズンマッチでは、素晴らしいパスで味方のゴールをお膳立てしている。
前半に2点を奪い、リバプールのリードで迎えた61分、自陣中央でボールを持ったコウチーニョは、軽快なドリブルでセンターサークル付近まで進む。前線にいたFWモハメド・サラーの動きを一瞬確認すると、その位置から前線に浮き球のスルーパス。ボールは、快速サラーが相手DFとGKのちょうど中間で追いつく絶妙の位置に落ちると、追いついたサラーが冷静にループシュートで決め、3点目を奪った。

高価なものなんかいらない! 心優しきマネ「少しでもみんなに還元する」
