アストン・ビラは9日、イングランド人FWオリー・ワトキンス(24)をブレントフォードから獲得したことを発表した。契約は5年となる。
イギリス『スカイ・スポーツ』によると、基本移籍金は2800万ポンド(約38億6000万円)で、ボーナス次第で3300万ポンド(約45億5000万円)に上昇。アストン・ビラにおいて、昨夏にクラブ・ブルージュから獲得したブラジル人FWウェズレイに費やした2200万ポンド(約30億円)を超える最高額となったようだ。

アストン・ビラがスタジアム改修をスタート、ユーロ2028の会場となり5万人収容に変貌へ
