“離脱→合流→離脱”とコロナに翻弄されたアダマ・トラオレが前を向く「神が許せば、また会える」

スペイン代表を離脱したウォルバーハンプトンのFWアダマ・トラオレが心境を明かした。

バルセロナの下部組織出身で、現在はウォルバーハンプトンでプレーするアダマ・トラオレ。強靭な肉体と爆発的なスピードでプレミアリーグでも多くのクラブの脅威となり、今回のUEFAネーションズリーグに向けたスペイン代表に招集されていた。

デビューが期待されていたものの、スペイン代表合流前にイングランドで受けたPCR検査の結果、陽性が確認。そのため、ドイツ代表との試合に向けたスペイン代表チームへの合流を辞退していた。

しかし、再検査を受けたアダマ・トラオレは無事に陰性であることが確認。そのため、6日に行われるウクライナ代表との試合に向けマドリッドへ飛び、スペイン代表に合流することが決定していた。

一度は辞退を余儀なくされたアダマ・トラオレだったが、無事に合流が認められたものの、試合に向けたPCR検査でUEFAのプロトコルに抵触。感染リスクがないものの、IgG抗体(既に感染した人の血液中にみられる免疫物質)があり、スタジアムへの訪問が推奨されないため、代表を離脱することとなってしまった。

新型コロナウイルス(COVID-19)に翻弄され、2度もチームを離れる決断をせざるを得なくなったアダマ・トラオレは自身のツイッターで心境を明かし、再び代表に招集されるために頑張ると前を向いた。

「残念ながら、完全に健康な状態にあり、抗体を持っていて、仲間に感染するリスクがないにも関わらず、PCR検査の最後の結果を受け取った後、僕は明日(6日)プレーすることができない」

「僕はスペイン人」18歳ハイセンが母国オランダに決別…2月にスペイン国籍取得でU-21代表デビュー

21世紀の出場試合数ランキング発表! 首位は1145試合のC・ロナウド、トップ10に日本人選手がランクイン
