スペインサッカー連盟(RFEF)は7日、レアル・ソシエダのFWミケル・オヤルサバルがポルトガル戦を欠場すること発表した。RFEFによると、オヤルサバルは、新型コロナウイルス(COVID-19)の陽性のIgG抗体を持っているため、感染リスクがないもののポルトガル戦には出場できないこととなった。

これは欧州サッカー連盟(UEFA)が定めるプロトコルによるもの。感染リスクがない状態でも、PCR検査の結果が完全に陰性でない限りはスタジアムに来ないことを推奨しているため、オヤルサバルはリスボンに向けて出発するチームに帯同しないことが決定した。
なお、オヤルサバルは感染のリスクがないため、代表チームに合流後は通常の活動をし、チームメイトとトレーニングをしていた。

スペイン代表では、9月の代表活動時にウォルバーハンプトンのFWアダマ・トラオレが同じ状態となり、結果的に一度もプレーすることなくチームに戻っていた。
なお、オヤルサバルはスイス代表、ウクライナ代表とのUEFAネーションズリーグに向けて、新たに検査を受け、陰性の結果が出るのを待つことになる。

ソシエダ、10番オヤルサバルとこれからも共に! 2028年まで契約延長

21世紀の出場試合数ランキング発表! 首位は1145試合のC・ロナウド、トップ10に日本人選手がランクイン

「間違いを犯しました」ゲイ告白騒動のカシージャス、「僕らの話をする時が…」と茶化したプジョールが謝罪

「本当に泣ける…」スペイン相手に劇的勝利、日本代表選手たちが勝利後のロッカー&バスで歌った曲は?久保建英がスピーカー持ってファンの前に

「激アツ」「どっちも可愛い」長谷川唯の“激レア”スペイン代表ユニフォーム姿が話題! イニエスタにも例えられるボンマティの日本代表ユニも話題「なんかエモい」
