過去10年間のラ・リーガにおいて、ある統計でFWリオネル・メッシやFWクリスティアーノ・ロナウドも敵わない記録保持者が存在する。
過去10年、いや、もっと遡ってもメッシやロナウドに匹敵するスコアラーはなかなかいないだろう。バルセロナのメッシは350ゴール137アシスト、2009年から2018年までレアル・マドリーに在籍したロナウドは280ゴール80アシストという規格外の得点能力を誇った。
しかし、この2人でも敵わないある記録を持つ選手がいる。それはFWゴンサロ・イグアインだ。同選手は2007年から2013年までの間にマドリーでプレー。ロナウドとも5シーズン共闘した。
そんなイグアインのマドリーでのラ・リーガ通算ゴール数は「107」だが、ことシュート決定率においてメッシとロナウドの上をいく数字を持つという。
スペイン『アス』によると、メッシとロナウドのシュート決定率はそれぞれ20.93%と16.22%。そして、イグアインは2人を大きく上回る29.09%。およそ3本に1本のシュートがネットを揺らしている計算になる。
しかし、上記3人とイグアインを含む4選手は、現在の所属クラブで最高のパフォーマンスを見せられていないと『アス』は指摘。インテルのサンチェスや、北京国安でプレーするバカンプがこのタイミングでスペインに戻ってきた場合、かつての輝きを放つことは出来るのだろうか。

バルセロナの来日が決定! 7月27日にJ1連覇中の神戸と2023年6月以来2年ぶりの対戦!
