スペインサッカー協会(RFEF)は11日、U-21スペイン代表にバルセロナのFWアンス・ファティ(16)を招集したことを発表した。

ギニアビサウ出身のアンス・ファティは、ポルトガル代表を選択することも可能だった状況。しかし、9月にスペイン国籍を取得し、U-17ワールドカップに臨むU-17スペイン代表に選出されるのではと憶測されていた。

今シーズン、彗星の如く現れたアンス・ファティは、バルセロナU-19に所属していながらトップチームで結果を残す。
すでにラ・リーガで5試合、チャンピオンズリーグで1試合に出場しているアンス・ファティだが、ラ・リーガでは2ゴール1アシストを記録。バルセロナでのクラブ最年少ゴール記録や、チャンピオンズリーグ最年少記録など、数々の記録を塗り替え中だ。

今回U-21スペイン代表に招集されたのは、バルセロナのチームメイトであるFWカルレス・ペレスが負傷で辞退したため。トレーニングを終えたチームにホテルで合流していた。
U-21スペイン代表は、U-21ユーロ2021の予選を戦っており、モンテネグロ代表戦に臨む。

息子の早産に悩んだダビド・シルバ「フットボールが唯一の拠り所だった」

トラップミスで“40m”オウンゴール許したスペイン新守護神に「信じられない」それでも好セーブ連発!

「堂安律のシュートはデ・ヘアなら…」 スペイン守護神シモンにG・ネビル疑問符
