イングランド代表、体調不良のマディソンが離脱…またしてもデビューならず…《ユーロ2020予選》

イングランドサッカー協会(FA)は10日、レスター・シティのMFジェームズ・マディソンが病気を理由にイングランド代表を離脱することを発表した。

マディソンの病状に関しては不明だが、すでに代表を離れて所属元のレスターで療養することになる。また、代替選手の招集も行われない。

マディソンはここまでフル代表に3度の招集歴があったが、ここまでの直近4試合はいずれも起用されず、代表未デビューとなっている。

ユーロ2020予選でグループAに属するイングランドは、11日にチェコ代表、14日にブルガリア代表と共にアウェイで対戦する。
