チェルシーが、レバークーゼンに所属するジャマイカ代表FWレオン・ベイリー(21)の獲得に興味を示しているようだ。イギリス『デイリー・メール』が伝えている。
7日にMFエデン・アザールのレアル・マドリー移籍が決まったチェルシー。さらに、FWペドロとMFウィリアンは30歳を越えており、若返りを考慮する時期になっている。
そのため、チェルシーは若いアタッカーの獲得を目指しており、昨夏にも関心を寄せたベイリーに白羽の矢を立てているようだ。だが、レバークーゼンも簡単に手放す気はなく8000万ポンド(約110億2000万円)を要求する模様だ。
また、チェルシーはFIFAから今後2度(2019年夏、2020年冬)の移籍期間での選手登録が禁止に。現在はスポーツ仲裁裁判所(CAS)に上訴しているが、最終決定が下される時期は未定となっているため、決定まで待たなければならない状況となっている。
