神戸、吉田孝行監督が事実上の解任 アシスタントコーチの林健太郎氏を暫定指揮官に

▽ヴィッセル神戸は17日、トップチームの体制変更を発表した。

▽吉田孝行監督(41)、ゲルト・エンゲルス ヘッドコーチ(61)、内山俊彦アシスタントコーチ(39)、公文栄次通訳兼アシスタントコーチ(41)は今後、スタッフとしてチーム強化に尽力する予定。それにより、アシスタントコーチの林健太郎氏(46)が暫定監督、アカデミースタッフのマルコス・ビベス コーチ(43)がヘッドコーチを務める。

▽吉田監督は、2017年8月に前任のネルシーニョ氏の解任に伴い、ヘッドコーチから昇格。チームとしてAFCチャンピオンズリーグ出場権獲得を狙う今シーズンは、夏にバルセロナから元スペイン代表MFアンドレス・イニエスタを加えたが、明治安田生命Jリーグ残り8試合の現時点で3位のFC東京を6ポイント差で追う8位に位置している。
▽なお、吉田監督のラストマッチになった明治安田生命J1リーグ第26節は、15日にホームで行われ、17位に甘んじるガンバ大阪を相手に1-2の逆転負け。事実上の解任となる吉田監督は、クラブ公式サイトを通じて、次のようにコメントしている。

「ヴィッセル神戸に関わる全ての皆さま、日頃よりご支援、ご声援いただき誠にありがとうございます。今シーズンは ACL 出場を目標に戦っております。私の力不足で満足のいく結果を出すことができず、クラブの成長をお見せすることができず、悔しい思いで一杯です」
「私はヴィッセル神戸が大好きで、現役時代からこのクラブでタイトルを獲ることが夢でした。現役引退後も全力で向き合ってきました。このクラブはまだまだ成長して、目標を達成できるクラブだと思います。このクラブへの愛情は尽きることはありません。今後ともご声援のほど、宜しくお願いします」

神戸の吉田孝行監督、過去に衝撃受けた敵将率いるスパーズと対戦「どれぐらいできるのかを楽しみにしたい」

ヴィッセル神戸の吉田孝行監督がトッテナム戦の前日会見を行った。 明治安田J1リーグで首位と7ポイント差の4位で夏の中断期間に入った神戸は、東アジアでプレシーズンツアーを行っているトッテナムと国立競技場で行われる『明治安田Jリーグワールドチャレンジ2024 powered by docomo』で対戦する。 元横浜F・マリノスの指揮官であるアンジェ・ポステコグルー監督が率いるプレミアリーグの強豪との対戦に向け、吉田監督は「世界一のリーグであるプレミアリーグの強豪クラブと試合ができるということを本当に楽しみにしています。自分たちは今、中断期間中でケガ人も多くて、ちょっとコンディション面も不安はあります。ただ、相手チームも日本に来てこの暑さもあると思いますし、そんななかでも自分たちが今できることを全力でやってしっかり勝てたらいいなと思います」と意気込みを語った。 オーストラリア人指揮官のJリーグ時代に対戦経験もある敵将については、今でこそ日本国内でも浸透する“偽サイドバック”を持ち込み、表面上はリスクの多さばかりが目立つアタッキングスタイルを含め、やはり衝撃を感じていたという。 「私がボスという言い方でいいのかわからないですけど、初めて試合を見たのは彼が初めて来日したシーズンのキャンプで、サイドバックが中に入って本当に衝撃的でした。今でこそ偽装サイドバックとかの言葉もできていますけど、そのときはすごく衝撃的で、すごくいいサッカーをするなというふうに思いました」 「自分もそのときには監督をやっていましたが、そういうふうに自分自身も見ていて、実際対戦も何度かしてますし、そのときに運よく自分たちが勝ったこともありましたが、やはりマリノスさんのその当時のサッカーというのは本当に攻撃的で、やっていても本当にやりづらかったですし、分析もしづらかったし、いろんな選手が入れ替わり、中に入って出ていって、飛び出していってというのもあったので、難しいなというのはありましたけど、見ていて楽しかったです」 その横浜FM時代の対戦から数年を経て、現在オーストラリア人指揮官が率いるのは、プレミアリーグでも屈指のタレントを擁するトッテナム。吉田監督は今回の対戦に向けて簡単に分析したなかでもフィジカル能力を含めた選手のクオリティの高さ、バランスを取りつつも要所で先鋭化した感もある戦術面の進化を感じている。 「まずは身体能力だったり、フィジカル。あとは技術、その部分においては、1人1人のレベルが間違いなく世界でもトップレベルだと思います」 「今のトッテナムがやっているサッカーというのは、マリノス時代とすごく似ている部分はあると思います。さらに攻撃のところではサイドバックが中に入るだけではなくて、高い位置を取るという印象もありますし、自分も何試合か見させていただきましたが、見ていても脅威だなというふうに感じています」 ここまで対戦相手を称賛する言葉を並べてきたが、「Jリーグの代表として試合をさせてもらう」とJ1王者としての責任も垣間見せた指揮官は、「実際の試合になると、自分たちもそういう相手に対して、どういうふうにするかというのも、しっかりとプレシーズンマッチではありますけど、対策も多少してきてはいるので、それがどれぐらい通じるのか。また、Jリーグの代表としても試合をさせてもらうので、どれぐらいできるのかというのは楽しみにしたい」と、決して引き立て役になるつもりはない。 ただ、近年はバルセロナやインテル・マイアミを含め多くの海外クラブと対戦している神戸の指揮官は、「一番はもちろん勝って終われること」としながらも、やはり世界のトップレベルとの対戦を通じた選手たちの成長や気づきこそがプレシーズンマッチを戦う大きな意義だと考えている。 「結果というのはそこまで重要ではないかなと思っています。一番はもちろん勝って終われるということですが、一番は選手たちが世界のトップレベルの選手たちと対戦して肌で感じる。まだ自分に何が足りないのか、どういうところが通じるのかというのを感じる機会でもあります」 「もちろんクラブとしてもそういう世界のトップレベルのチームと対戦することによって、ヴィッセル神戸という、あるいはJリーグというのが世界に広がっていくというのも、クラブにとってもいいことかなと思います」 今夏のプレシーズンツアーにおいてここまでJリーグ勢の勝利はないが、神戸が難敵相手にJ1王者の意地を見せられるか…。 2024.07.26 22:30 Fri

バルサ化推進の神戸、リージョ監督と契約解除 後任に前任の吉田孝行氏

ベッカムに並ぶ“イケメン”…日韓W杯で一大ブームとなったイルハンはすっかり“イケオジ”に

「スペインより日本の方が長い」来日5年のイニエスタが8歳長男の誕生日を祝福!「お父さんにそっくり」

「日本に住んで3年になりますが」イニエスタの妻が日本生活での驚きを打ち明ける「いまだに驚いています」
