──思い出のワールドカップは? また、その理由は
2006年のドイツワールドカップは、小学校の時テレビの前で応援していたのが今でも覚えている。
最後のブラジル戦に敗退した時の中田英寿選手はものすごく印象に残っています。
──今、いちばん注⽬している選⼿は?
ベルギー代表:ロメル・ルカク
ベルギーの選手で、FWの選手なんですけど、まず体格がすごい。身長も大きく、足も速いのでDFからしたらかなり怖い選手だと思って見てます

日本代表:大迫勇也
コロンビア戦でも勝ち越しゴールをしましたし、ハンパないゴールがまた見たいです。

──サッカーを観戦するうえでのこだわりは?
縦パスを入れた時の選手みんなで攻めに行く勢いやスイッチが入る瞬間が面白い

──観戦はひとり派? それともみんなでワイワイ派?
みんなでワイワイ派です。わからない人にも教えたりしたいし、ゴール入ったらみんなでハイタッチして喜び合いたいですね。

南アフリカW杯の決勝トーナメント1回戦目のパラグアイ戦のPK戦ですね。
駒野選手が外した時は今でも覚えています。

「1週間ずっと泣いていた」ベルギー代表のエースがカタールW杯後に壊れる…ルカクは毎日3回も電話して支えた人物に「本当に感謝している」

自らの希望により現在はベルギー代表から離れているFWロメル・ルカク。2022年のカタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)で大きな精神的ダメージを負ったと明かした。 ベルギー代表のエースとして活躍してきたルカク。これまで119試合に出場し85ゴールを記録している。 黄金世代の1人としてチームを支えてきたルカクだったが、2021年9月からケガの問題もあり代表チームではほとんどプレーできず。それでも、カタールW杯のメンバーに選出された。 ケガのため初戦を欠場したルカクだったが、2戦目のモロッコ代表戦で最終盤に登場。1勝1分けで迎えた第3節のクロアチア代表戦では勝利が必要だった中、ハーフタイム明けから出場した。 しかし、この試合のルカクは決定機を何度も迎えたものの、ことごとく失敗。ベルギー自体も敗退となった中、戦犯として扱われてしまっていた。 現在は自身の意向で代表招集を断っているルカク。『Friends of Sports』のポッドキャストで、カタールW杯での出来事が自身のメンタルに大きな影響を与えたと語った。 「クロアチアと対戦してスコアが0-0だったので、僕は『希望はある』と言った」 「その後、僕は交代で出場しみんなは試合がどうなったかご存知の通り、決定的なチャンスを4回逃した。神様がそう決めたんだから、問題ない」 「しかし、その余波は僕がダグアウトの窓を殴った時に始まった。その時僕のフラストレーションが全て出たんだ」 「僕は23年間サッカーをしてきたけど、こんな風に感じたのは初めてだった。本当に初めてだった」 「うつ病について考えたことは一度もなかったけど、誓って言うが、僕は家を出て、休暇を取り、一週間ずっと毎日泣いていた。僕は肉体的にも精神的にも壊れていた」 自身の不甲斐ないパフォーマンスへの思いと周囲からの大きな批判を受けて壊れたルカク。その状況の中、救ってくれた人物がいたという。 「ティエリ・アンリには本当に感謝している。彼は毎日3回電話をかけてきて『大丈夫か?精神的にはどうだい?』と聞いてきた。なぜなら彼はそれがどんな感じか分かっているからだ」 「彼は僕と同じようにサッカーに夢中で、何でも知っている。彼はすべての試合を観戦し、僕がサッカー中毒者だということも知っている。その瞬間から決勝まで、僕はワールドカップの試合を一切見ず、毎日ただ泣いていた」 当時ベルギー代表のコーチとして参加していたアンリ氏は、ルカクのサポートを欠かさなかったという。自身もフランス代表のエースとして活躍し、アーセナルやバルセロナなどビッグクラブでプレッシャーにさらされる日々を現役時代は過ごしていた。 そしてルカクは決して万全の状態ではなかったとコメント。ただ、ベルギーの敗退を阻止するためにプレーすることを決めたと語った。 「クロアチア戦に向けて3日間準備していたので、最初の公式トレーニングはモロッコ戦の翌日だった。クロアチア戦の2日前にもトレーニングをした。それが3カ月ぶりのトレーニングだった」 「勝とうが負けようが引き分けようが、自分がそこにいることは分かっていた。監督は僕を必要としていたし、チームも僕を必要としていたし、ベルギーも僕を必要としていた」 辛い日々を乗り越えたルカクは、今シーズンからナポリへと居場所を移した。一方で、ベルギー代表からはまだ距離をとっている。2025年3月には復帰するつもりがあるようだが、再びベルギーのためにゴールを量産するのか、注目が集まる。 2024.10.18 18:40 Fri

「激アツ」「どっちも可愛い」長谷川唯の“激レア”スペイン代表ユニフォーム姿が話題! イニエスタにも例えられるボンマティの日本代表ユニも話題「なんかエモい」
