ウルグアイ代表FWルイス・スアレスが自らのヒザの状態について語った。アルゼンチン『Ole』が伝えた。 2022シーズン限りで母国ウルグアイのナシオナルを退団し、2023シーズンはブラジルのグレミオでプレーしているスアレス。2020年に手術した右ヒザの慢性的な痛みに悩まされる中、カンピオナート・ブラジレイロ・セリエAで32試合15ゴールを記録している。 しかし、スアレスは7月に開いた記者会見で、ヒザの問題のため12月でグレミオとの契約を終えることで合意したと発表。現役引退の可能性や、元チームメイトのFWリオネル・メッシらが在籍するインテル・マイアミ行きが取り沙汰されている。 来年1月に37歳の誕生日を迎えるこのストライカーは、ウルグアイのラジオ『890 Sport』でヒザの問題について詳しく語り、リハビリの最中にコロナ禍となってしまったことが原因だと明かしている。 「ヒザの外側に、バルセロナ時代に受けた手術の後遺症があるんだ」 「回復の最終段階でパンデミックがやってきて、自分でエクササイズをしなければならなくなり、ヒザを完全に伸ばしきることができなかった。内側は軟骨がすり減っていて、それが骨にぶつかるんだ」 スアレスはヒザの痛みに必死に耐えていることや、プレーするために多くの処置を施していることも明かした。 「常にヒザの痛みを感じている。動かすことができないから幸いにも水は溜まらないけど、固まって曲げることもできない」 「試合の前日には薬を3錠飲み、試合の数時間前にはボルタレン(消炎鎮痛剤)の注射を打つ。そうしないとプレーできない。それが足を引きずる原因だ」 また、このヒザの痛みはサッカーのみならず、日常生活にも支障をきたしているという。 「今はこの関節の痛みに耐えることができるけど、5年後には友達との5人制サッカーもできなくなるかもしれない」 「実際、朝の1歩目はとても痛い。誰が見ても、試合に出るなんて不可能だと感じる。息子に一緒に遊ぼうと言われても、遊ぶことができないんだ」 スアレスは今後の進退についても言及。葛藤を抱える中でもサッカーは続けたいと考えているようだ。 「今の僕の望みは、1日1日を生きて、自分の人生を楽しむことだ」 「クラブに加わるとしたらそれは勝つためで、そうでないなら引退する。僕は頭が固いからサッカーを楽しみ続けたいと思っているし、それが一番好きなことなんだ」 2023.12.05 15:11 Tue

カタールW杯での不適切行為でカバーニらウルグアイ代表4選手に出場停止と罰金処分…代表チームはホーム1試合でゴール裏閉鎖と罰金
国際サッカー連盟(FIFA)は27日、カタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)での試合で起こった事件に関して、ウルグアイ代表への処分を発表した。 事件が起こったのは12月2日のカタールW杯、ガーナ代表vsウルグアイ代表の試合だ。 試合は2-0でガーナが勝利し、ウルグアイはグループステージで敗退。この試合中には、ガーナのファウルを取らなかったとして選手がドイツ人主審へと詰め寄っていた。また、試合後にも騒動が起こり、両チームの選手たちが揉める事件が起こっていた。 FIFA規律委員会は、ウルグアイサッカー協会(AUF)がウルグアイ代表のサポーターによる差別行動、選手たちの不正行為、攻撃的な行為、そしてフェアプレー違反の責任を負うべきだと判断したという。 また、FIFA規律委員会は不正行為を行った4選手に対し、個別の制裁を課すことを発表した。 処分対象となったのは、DFホセ・マリア・ヒメネス、GKフェルナンド・ムスレラ、FWエディンソン・カバーニ、DFディエゴ・ゴディンの4名となる。 AUFに対しては、次のFIFA国際Aマッチでゴール裏の閉鎖に加え、5万スイスフラン(約700万円)の罰金処分が課される。 また、ヒメネスとムスレラには4試合の出場停止と、奉仕活動、2万スイスフラン(約280万円)の罰金、カバーニとゴディンには、1試合の出場停止と1万5000スイスフラン(約211万円)の罰金が課される。 2023.01.28 22:40 Sat

“つり目”ポーズのU-20ウルグアイ代表MFバルベルデが人種差別を否定も謝罪
