「チェルシーは僕たちよりも良いプレーを」CL決勝進出を逃したGKクルトワが古巣のパフォーマンスを評価

レアル・マドリーのベルギー代表GKティボー・クルトワが、古巣のチェルシー戦を振り返った。クラブ公式サイトが伝えた。

マドリーは5日、チャンピオンズリーグ(CL)準決勝2ndレグでチェルシーと対戦した。

ホームでの1stレグで1-1のドローに終わっていたマドリー。突破にはゴールが必要となる中、序盤から攻め立てる。

しかし、チャンスを逸すると、チェルシーに先制される展開に。後半もゴールに迫るシーンがあった中、チェルシーの守備の前にゴールを奪えず。その後追加点を許し、2-0で敗戦。準決勝で敗退となった。

この試合で2失点を喫してしまったクルトワ。チームのプレーは良かったとしながらも、チェルシーの出来を評価した。

「前半はボールをコントロールできたけど、チャンスは十分ではなかった。カリム(・ベンゼマ)が良いシュートを放っていたけど、GKにセーブされて1-0になった」

「後半はゴールを目指したけど、相手の守備がしっかりしていたし、カウンターで失点してしまった。でも、サッカーは負けることもあり、続けなければならなかった」

「日曜日のセビージャ戦に向けて、今は休む必要がある。僕たち攻撃的になり、危険な場面を作ろうとしたが、相手はカウンターが早く、それが僕たちを苦しめた」

また、決勝進出を逃したチームについても言及。CLの舞台はそんな簡単なものではないとし、改めてチェルシーのパフォーマンスを評価した。

21世紀の出場試合数ランキング発表! 首位は1145試合のC・ロナウド、トップ10に日本人選手がランクイン
