ミュラー、ドイツ代表復帰はなし! 代表関係者が改めて宣言

昨年3月にヨハヒム・レーブ監督から構想外であることが伝えられて以降、ドイツ代表から遠ざかっているバイエルンのMFトーマス・ミュラーだが、現在でも復帰の可能性はほとんどゼロに近いようだ。

ドイツ代表で通算100試合出場38ゴール36アシストの成績を持つミュラーだが、昨年3月に突如、レーヴ監督から構想外が宣告された。今夏に開催予定だったユーロ2020に向けて「今こそ、未来への新たな道を切り開く時だ」と指揮官が世代交代を目論んだためだ。

それから1年以上が経過し、今年9月に31歳の誕生日を迎えるミュラーは、今シーズンのブンデスリーガで29試合7ゴール18アシストとリーグ最多アシスト数を更新中。それでも、ドイツサッカー協会(DFB)のディレクターを務めるオリヴァー・ビアホフ氏は、レーブ政権下では復帰の可能性は極めて低いと、ドイツ『キッカー」の取材でコメントした。

「今季のミュラーは素晴らしい活躍をしている。レーブ監督も認めなければならないだろう」

「だが、彼は明瞭な決断を下し、若手への信頼を表明した。我々は今、若い選手へ目を向けている」

なお、ミュラー同様にDFマッツ・フンメルス、DFジェローム・ボアテングの2人も今後招集されないことになっている。

史上初のCL全勝優勝他を寄せ付けなかったバイエルンの足取り

本当は18歳ではなく22歳? ドルトムントの至宝・ムココに年齢詐称疑惑が再燃、出生証明書の真偽が問われることに
