アメリカサッカー連盟(USSF)と ナイキは18日、アメリカ代表の新ユニフォームを発表した。
新ユニフォームでは、デザインで統一感を表現。ホームとアウェイ用のユニフォームどちらにも「One Nation」、「One Team」のテキストと1つの星が描かれている。
そのホームユニフォームは、時代を超越したクラシックなデザインを再考。白をベースとしながら、袖口は赤と白の組み合わせ、襟は青、赤、白の3色の組み合わせとなっている。
ファンからは、このユニフォームについて「今のよりはマシだ!」、「だいぶ良くなっている」などとコメント。評価が低い現在のユニフォームより良くなったという意見が多い。
一方で、アウェイユニフォームについては、「BOMB POPS(ボムポップ/アメリカのアイス)ユニフォームだ」、「ペプシコーラを思い出させる」、「ペプシの宣伝か?」など、青、白、赤というカラーリングが被るものを思い起こす人が多いようだ。
このユニフォームは、3月に行われるCONCACAFネーションズリーグで男子チームが初めて着用。女子チームは4月に開催されるシービリーブスカップで着用する予定だ。

6月から7月にかけて行われるコパ・アメリカ2024の開催国であるアメリカ。サッカー機運が高まっている中での新ユニフォーム発表となった。その新ユニフォームは、A代表だけでなくユースやシニアでも共通のデザインに。全部で27チームがこのユニフォームに袖を通すこととなるが、それは史上初のことだという。そのホームユニフォームは、時代を超越したクラシックなデザインを再考。白をベースとしながら、袖口は赤と白の組み合わせ、襟は青、赤、白の3色の組み合わせとなっている。

衝撃の逮捕劇…元アメリカ女子代表GKホープ・ソロが飲酒運転&児童虐待で起訴へ
