「高価な食べ物はない」ギネス記録樹立、C・ロナウドのあの肉体の秘訣を専属シェフが明かす

ユナイテッドで活躍した元アイルランド代表DFオシェイが今季終了後に現役引退

チャンピオンシップ(イングランド2部)のレディングは4月30日、同クラブに所属する元アイルランド代表DFジョン・オシェイ(38)が今季限りで現役を引退することを発表した。オシェイは、1998年からマンチェスター・ユナイテッドでプレー。主戦場のセンターバックに加え、サイドバックや守備的MFでもプレーできるユーティリティ性を生かして、公式戦394試合に出場して15ゴールを記録。5度のプレミアリーグ優勝、1度のチャンピオンズリーグ優勝を経験した。その後、2011年の夏にユナイテッドからサンダーランドに移籍したオシェイは、在籍7シーズンで公式戦256試合4ゴールを記録。そして今季よりレディングに移籍し、公式戦10試合に出場していた。また、アイルランド代表としては119試合に出場。2度のユーロ出場を果たしていた。 2019.04.30 23:20 Tue

フットボール・アソシエーション・オブ・アイルランド(FAI)は22日、アイルランド代表のアシスタントコーチに、ジョン・オシェイ氏(41)が就任することを発表した。オシェイ氏は、ボーンマスやマンチェスター・ユナイテッド、ロイヤル・アントワープ、サンダーランド、レディングでプレーし、2019年7月に現役を引退した。ユナイテッド時代には、センターバック、サイドバックを務めるユーティリティ性を見せ、公式戦394試合に出場し15ゴール23アシストを記録。プレミアリーグで5回、チャンピオンズリーグで1回など、数多くのタイトルを獲得した。アイルランド代表としてもプレーし、119試合で3ゴールを記録。ワールドカップに出場することはなかったが、2001年から2018年まで代表チームでプレーした。引退後は、レディングでアシスタントコーチを務め、2020年4月からU-21アイルランド代表のアシスタントコーチに就任。2022年7月からはストーク・シティのアシスタントコーチも兼任していた。 2022年12月にはUEFAプロライセンスを取得している。 3月にスタートするユーロ2024の予選からアイルランド代表に帯同。ストーク・シティのアシスタントコーチは兼務になるという。 2023.02.22 22:36 Wed
