マルセイユでの活躍を経て、今年6月にフランス代表に初招集されたカマラは、UEFAネーションズリーグの3試合すべてでプレー機会を与えられた。
また、今回のインターナショナルマッチウィークではMFアドリアン・ラビオ(ユベントス)の負傷離脱により、追加招集の形で本大会前最後のアピールのチャンスを与えられたが、直近のサウサンプトン戦で右ヒザを痛めたことで、無念の招集辞退となった。
フランス『レキップ』によると、そのカマラは直近の精密検査の結果、右ヒザに重度の捻挫を負ったことが判明。クラブは早期復帰のため、同選手をドバイへ向かわせており、離脱期間は最低でも2カ月を要する見込みだという。

アストン・ビラがスタジアム改修をスタート、ユーロ2028の会場となり5万人収容に変貌へ
