ウェストハムがマクスウェル・コルネ獲得へ! クラブ間と個人間双方で合意

ウェストハムが、バーンリーのコートジボワール代表FWマクスウェル・コルネ(25)獲得を決定的なモノとしたようだ。イギリス『スカイ・スポーツ』など複数メディアが報じている。

今夏の移籍市場で2列目の補強を目指すハマーズは、当初フランクフルトのセルビア代表MFフィリップ・コスティッチの獲得を目指していたが、競合ユベントスの存在もあり交渉が難航。

そういった中、数週間前にはエバートン行きが濃厚と見られていたコルネの獲得に迫っているようだ。

コルネとバーンリーの契約には、降格時に有効となる1750万ポンド(約28億3000万円)の契約解除条項があり、ウェストハムはその金額を支払うことで合意。さらに、選手サイドとの交渉も合意に至り、一両日中にもメディカルチェックを受診する予定だという。

コルネは昨夏にリヨンからバーンリーに加入したレフティのドリブラー。リヨン時代には左サイドのスペシャリストとして評価を高め、チャンピオンズリーグでは“マンチェスター・シティキラー”との異名も持っていた。

バーンリーでは2トップの一角や左のウイング、ウイングバックや左サイドハーフでも起用されながら、リーグ戦26試合で9ゴール1アシストを記録。チームは無念の降格となったものの、個人としては上々のプレミアリーグ1年目となった。
