パリ・オリンピックアジア最終予選となる北朝鮮女子代表との2連戦へ向け、13日に始動したなでしこジャパン。17日に国内キャンプ5日目を迎え、トレーニング後にはFW藤野あおば(日テレ・東京ヴェルディベレーザ)がメディアの取材に応じた。

なでしこジャパンは2大会連続6度目のオリンピック出場を懸け、北朝鮮と24日に第1戦(開催地未定)、28日に国立競技場での第2戦を迎える。

試合日が迫る中でもいまだ会場未定という事態だが、藤野は「早く決まるのが1番ですけど、やるべきことは変わらないのでどこでもいいかなと思います」と、自然体の発言で報道陣の笑いを誘った。
もちろん北朝鮮への警戒は「球際や一つ一つのプレー、勝負への執着心は、かなり長けている。自分たちも同じくらいか、それ以上のものを持ってやらなければ」と、緩めていない。

想定される相手のプレッシングに対しては、「前線からプレッシャーを受けると、プレスを剥がすのが目的なのか、ゴールを取るのが目的なのかが曖昧になる」可能性があると指摘。その中で得点への筋道として、相手守備陣がコンパクトさを保ちづらい立ち位置を取るなどの工夫や、「前から来る相手でも一つ剥がせれば(チャンスも)生まれてくる」と、裏への抜け出しも含めて力になりたいと語る。
また、ブラジル遠征以降は谷川萌々子(FCローゼンゴード)や古賀塔子(フェイエノールト)と、藤野らのさらに下の代がなでしこに加わった。「先輩感はあまりないですが…」と前置きしつつ、「2人ともすごくうまくて、しっかり自分を持っている」と2人を称え、自らがなでしこに新たな息吹をもたらしたときのように、競争と共闘を歓迎した。

「下からの底上げはすごく大事だと感じますし、いい競争力も、彼女たちが入ってきたことで生まれている。自分も一緒になって、できることを増やせればいいなと思います」

なでしこがアメリカ遠征の最終戦で3発快勝! 東京五輪金メダルのカナダを下し1勝2敗で終える

英メディアがWEリーグの若手をピックアップ!なでしこ選出の藤野や石川含む「5人のライジングスター」

ベレーザのなでしこDF清水梨紗が癒しの一枚公開、子供抱く姿に「おいっこくん、笑顔が堪らない」

東京NB退団のDF木﨑あおいがマレーシアに挑戦! 浦和の下部組織出身で、EL埼玉、S広島Rでもプレー

「マジ!?」「衝撃」なでしこ守護神がMVに出演?! エビ中の新曲「kyo-do?」にエキストラで登場も難易度超高…「多分探せないけど探してみてね」
