浦和の新キャプテンはMF阿部勇樹が就任「新しい浦和レッズとして進んでいくことが大事」

浦和レッズは11日、2021シーズンのキャプテンにMF阿部勇樹が就任することを発表した。 阿部は2007年にジェフユナイテッド千葉から浦和に加入。2011年は当時チャンピオンシップ(イングランド2部)のレスター・シティへと移籍すると、2012年に復帰していた。 2012年の復帰時にはミハイロ・ペトロヴィッチ監督(現北海道コンサドーレ札幌)からキャプテンに任命。その後もキャプテンやゲームキャプテンを務めていた。 昨シーズンは浦和加入後最も出場機会が少なく明治安田J1で3試合の出場に終わっていた。 なお、副キャプテンはGK西川周作、DF宇賀神友弥、DF槙野智章が務めることとなる。 阿部はクラブを通じてコメントしている。 「今シーズンから、改めてキャプテンをやらせていただくこととなりました。過去にもやらせていただきましたが、浦和レッズのキャプテンの『おもみ』を理解しているつもりです」 「新監督や新たなメンバーも加わったので、これまで積み上げてきたものを大切にしながら、選手一人一人がキャプテンであるというような自覚、責任感を持ちながら、日々プレーし、新しい浦和レッズとして進んでいくことが大事だと思っています。キャプテンとして、チーム全員の意識が同じ方向を向けるように、先頭に立って走っていきたいと思います」 「チームを引っ張っていくことはもちろんですが、チームがいい時はあまり目立ちすぎず、後ろから仲間を支えることも必要だと思っています。シーズンを通して、キャプテンとしての出番が少ないことが一番の理想ですが、チームが苦しい状況や難しい時期に直面している時こそ、自分の出番だと思っています」 「キャプテンとして、チーム、浦和レッズのために全てを賭けてやっていきたいです。自分一人ではできないことだと思っていますし、サポートしてくれる副キャプテンのメンバーたちとともに、新しい浦和レッズのために、がんばっていきます。 「今シーズン、ファン・サポーターのみなさんと笑顔で過ごせるよう、そして近い将来満員の埼玉スタジアムでお会いできることを楽しみにしています。引き続き、応援よろしくお願いいたします」 2021.02.11 20:35 Thu

柴戸海が町田から浦和にレンタルバック 「22番に変更したとき以上の覚悟を持って闘いたい」

浦和、2選手の早稲田大特別選抜入試合格を発表 1人は横浜FM角田涼太郎の妹
