現役引退・内田篤人の功績、CL日本人最長出場記録

元オランダ代表FWカイト氏、家庭の事情によりフェイエノールトU-19監督を辞任へ
元オランダ代表FWのディルク・カイト氏がフェイエノールトU-19の監督を辞任したという。イギリス『ミラー』が報じている。 現役時代はフェイエノールトやリバプールで活躍したカイト氏。常に献身的なプレーで、どのクラブでも監督やチームメイト、サポーターに愛されてきた存在だ。 2016-17シーズンのフェイエノールトでのリーグ優勝を最後に現役を引退。その後はオランダのアマチュアクラブであるクイック・ボーイズでアシスタント・マネージャーを務めたが、ストライカー不足に陥っていた同チームで3試合のみ出場した経験もある。 そして2018年4月、フェイエノールトU-19の監督に就任。最近はトップチームの監督就任の噂もささやかれたが、この度現職を辞任する意向を示したという。『ミラー』によると、理由は2003年に結婚した妻カートゥルードさんとの離婚。 2人の間には3人の息子と1人の娘がおり、カイト氏は自身の指導者としてのキャリアよりも子供たちのことを優先させるべく、一度身を引く決断をしたようだ。 「今は子供たちの方を優先すべきだと思う。私がフェイエノールトで監督になることよりも、彼らのことの方が大事なんだ」 「彼らには妻とは別の道に進むことを伝えなければならなかった。私は子供たちの近くに居続けたいと思っている」 「僕たちはいつも仲が良かった。リバプールにいたときは、いつも家族と素晴らしい時間を過ごしていたよ」 「現役を引退して数年しか経っていないのに夫婦関係が終わったこと、それが今とても辛いことだ」 なお、フェイエノールトはU-21チームのコーチとして、カイト氏にオファーしたものの、今のところは完全に身を引く決断をしており辞退されたという。また、息子の1人、アイダン君は同クラブのアカデミーに所属しているとのことだ。 2020.06.07 22:10 Sun
