そんななか、PSVは24日に「選手の1人が活動性結核と診断された」と発表し、「新たな感染のリスクは低いが、プロトコルに従って状況を厳重に監視している」と選手名は伏せたものの、所属する選手の健康状態に関する声明を発表した。
オランダ『テレグラフ』、スペイン『マルカ』など複数メディアによれば、この当該選手はルーカス・ペレスだという。
そして、『テレグラフ』は「長期間欠場する見込みで、今シーズン再びプレーできる可能性は非常に低い」、「彼は今後3～4週間隔離され、抗生物質による治療を受けなければならない」とシーズン中の復帰が困難であるとの見通しを伝えている。
さらに、感染の可能性を懸念するクラブは、今後数週間で選手に対する検査数を増やす予定だという。
ルーカス・ペレスは、ラージョ・バジェカーノやディナモ・キーウ、PAOKテッサロニキ、デポルティボ、アーセナル、ウェストハム、アラベス、エルチェ、カディスでプレーしていた。
今シーズンはセグンダ・ディビシオン(スペイン2部)で19試合に出場し4ゴール4アシストを記録しており、これまでラ・リーガで202試合55ゴール32アシストを記録していた。

ヴェルトンゲンは25日、アンデルレヒトの公式サイトを通じてスパイクを脱ぐ決断を下したことを明かした。
「ここ数週間で、これが最後の試合になるだろうということがはっきりしてきたんだ。決して簡単な決断ではなかったけど、正しい決断だ。トレーニングや試合に向けて体力を整え、自分がなりたい選手として自分を見せることがますます難しくなっていることに気づいた。ファンや仲間の選手だけでなく、自分自身に対してもだ。だからこそ、今シーズンを最後に引退するんだ」
「残り11試合で全力を尽くし、ファンやチームメイトと素晴らしい瞬間をもう少し経験できればと思っているよ。自分が経験できたこと、達成できたことをとても誇りに思っている。また、長年自分を支えてくれたすべての人に心から感謝したいと思う」
ベールスホットのユース育ちのヴェルトンゲンは、そのままアヤックスのアカデミーに入団。2006年にファーストチームデビューを飾り、RKCヴァールヴァイクでの武者修行も経験。
アヤックスでは公式戦220試合に出場し28ゴール12アシストを記録。チームの主軸としてプレーすると、2012年7月にトッテナム・ホットスパーへ完全移籍。
スパーズではセンターバックと左サイドバックを主戦場に主軸を担うと、公式戦315試合で14ゴール8アシストを記録。マウリシオ・ポチェッティーノ監督の下で、近年の黄金期を過ごしたチームをディフェンスリーダーとして支えた。
その後、2020年8月にベンフィカへと完全移籍し、2022年9月には母国の名門アンデルレヒトへ活躍の場を移した。今シーズンここまではケガの影響などもあって公式戦5試合の出場にとどまっていた。
ベルギー代表としても、左サイドバックや3バックの一角でプレーし、歴代最多の157試合に出場し10ゴールを記録した。

MF前田直輝が妻の誕生日を祝い、秘蔵ショットを公開した。
前田は2021年12月に名古屋グランパスからオランダのユトレヒトへ完全移籍のオプション付きの期限付き移籍で加入。しかし、デビュー戦となったアヤックス戦でルーズボールを奪い合った際にスライディングで対応した相手選手と交錯すると、そのプレーで左足下腿を骨折、長期離脱を余儀なくされた。
その前田は、17日にインスタグラムを更新すると、「Happy birthday my wife!!!!!感謝の言葉以外見つからない存在。ありがとう」と奥様の誕生日を祝福。リハビリ期間を支えてくれた妻へ感謝の言葉を綴った。
素敵な2ショットを添えた前田だったが、ハッシュタグで「#寝顔まで美しいよ笑笑」と綴ると、助手席で半目で寝ている秘蔵ショットまで公開。ファンからは「3枚目 絶対怒られるやつ(笑)」、「今すぐ消した方がいい(笑)」、「さすがにそれは(笑)」といったコメントが寄せられた。
そんな前田だが、18日にはユトレヒトのSNSが練習に参加したことを報告。6月末でレンタル期間が満了となったものの、リハビリを終えた現在は引き続きオランダで練習を続けていることが明らかになっている。

フェイエノールトでプレーするFW上田綺世の妻であるモデルの由布菜月さんが、結婚3周年を報告。上田との2ショットで祝った。
2023-24シーズンからフェイエノールトでプレーする上田。2年目の今シーズンは結果を残し始めた矢先にケガで長期離脱。1月に約3カ月ぶりに復帰。チャンピオンズリーグ(CL)のバイエルン戦でいきなりゴールを決めるなど、復活の日も近い。
冬の移籍市場でエースのメキシコ代表FWサンティアゴ・ヒメネスがミランへと移籍したことで、より結果が求められることになった上田。その上田はは9日、結婚3周年を迎えた。
2022年2月9日に上田と由布さんは結婚を発表。3周年を受けて、由布さんが自身のインスタグラムを更新。上田との仲睦まじい2ショットを投稿した。
ファンは「かわいすぎる」、「上田夫婦大好き」、「幸せすぎる」、「最高の夫婦」、「ニヤニヤが止まらない」、「憧れの夫婦」、「末長くお幸せに」とコメントが寄せられた。

PSVは29日、バルセロナからレンタル加入しているアメリカ代表DFセルジーニョ・デスト(23)の買い取りを発表した。契約期間は2028年6月30日までの4年間となる。
2020年夏にアヤックスでの活躍が認められ、ダニエウ・アウベスの後継人としてバルセロナ入りのデスト。初年度こそ重宝されたが、2年目はケガにも悩まされ、2022-23シーズンはミランへレンタル移籍。
昨夏にバルセロナへローンバックしたが、2023-24シーズンも戦力には含まれておらず、PSVへレンタル移籍。アヤックスでプレーして以来となるエールディビジへのUターンだったが、公式戦37試合で2得点7アシストと重要なピースと化し、25度目の優勝に貢献した。
しかし、4月23日のトレーニング中にヒザの前十字じん帯断裂の重傷を負ったため、一部メディアでは買い取りオプションの行使は見送られると報じられていた。
来シーズン以降もPSVでプレーすることが決まったデストは、公式サイトで完全移籍を決断した理由を以下のように語った。
｢僕がPSVを選んだ理由はいくつかある。まずはPSVが僕を信頼してくれていることだ。このクラブは信じられないほど温かく、今まで僕が経験したことのない雰囲気だった。それは僕のような境遇の人間にとって重要なことだし、ここでならうまく再起できるという自信を与えてくれた｣
