今季のアーセナルでは出場機会の乏しかった岩渕は、出場機会を求めて今冬に今シーズン終了までの期限付き移籍でトッテナムへ加入。25日の女子コンチネンタルカップ準々決勝で早速加入後初先発を飾った。

29日に行われた女子FAカップ4回戦のロンドン・シティ戦にも続けて先発。目に見える結果も残した。

トッテナム1点リードの前半アディショナルタイム、速い攻撃から右サイドへの展開となると、アシュリー・ネビルからのグラウンダークロスをニアで受けに行く。岩渕は右足で打つと見せかけてボディフェイントから反転し、中央から左足。シュートはDFの足に当たってコースが変わり、右隅へと吸い込まれた。

ツキもあったとはいえ、フィニッシュまでの動きは見事。中盤でボールの収まりどころとなるなど、69分の交代まで精力的なプレーを披露した。

試合は追加点を挙げたトッテナムが5-0で勝利。次のステージへ駒を進めている。

「トッテナム」は禁止、「スパーズ」で…クラブが改めて通達、放送局からも「トッテナム」表記が消える
