フランス代表に痛恨…今季17ゴールのFWエンクンクがトレーニングでヒザを負傷しW杯欠場確定

フランス代表FWクリストファー・エンクンクがトレーニング中に負傷し、カタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)を欠場することとなった。フランスサッカー連盟(FFF)が発表した。

FFFによれば、15日のトレーニング中に負傷したとのこと。左ヒザを痛めてしまい、トレーニングを早く切り上げたという。

午後にレントゲンの検査を実施し、捻挫と診断されたとのこと。「ワールドカップへの参加を断念しなければならない」と発表された。

ディディエ・デシャン監督も離脱することを確認。14日に登録メンバーは締め切られたため、負傷者に代わる選手の招集に必要なメディカルファイルが国際サッカー連盟(FIFA)に送られたとのことだ。

なお、追加招集選手については、FIFAの確認が取れ次第発表されるという。

カタールW杯のメンバー入りを果たしていたエンクンクは、パリ・サンジェルマン(PSG)んで育ち、2019年7月にRBライプツィヒへ完全移籍。ライプツィヒのエースとして活躍し、ここまで公式戦159試合で64ゴール51アシストを記録していた。

今シーズンは好調を維持しており、ブンデスリーガで15試合12ゴール2アシスト。チャンピオンズリーグ(CL)でも6試合で3ゴール1アシストを記録。自身初のW杯での躍動が期待されていた。
