カタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)に臨むイングランド代表のパートナーたちは豪華客船で現地の時間を過ごすようだ。イギリス『サン』が報じている。

紹介されているのは22階建てのクルーズ船ホテル、MSCワールドヨーロッパだ。建造費は10億ポンド(約1641億円)と伝えられている。6つのプールと14のジャグジーを有しているだけでなく、高級時計店やジュエリーショップも備えてショッピングも楽しめるうえ、寿司バーやエステサロンも併設されている。もちろん、船内では全試合が生中継される。

ロイヤルスイートは6000ポンド(約100万円)に設定され、船の最上部には快適なレストランとラウンジバー。8000を超える八角形とペアカットのスワロフスキークリスタルが積み上げられた階段で結ばれている。

カタールは飲酒に厳格で、法律では公の場での飲酒や酔っ払った姿を容認しないとされているが、船は沖合に停泊しているため、アルコールも自由に楽しむことができるとのこと。

同紙によれば、ハリー・ケインの妻であるケイティ・グッドランドさん、ジャック・グリーリッシュのガールフレンドであるモデルのサシャ・アトウッドさん、エリック・ダイアーの婚約者であるアンナ・モドラーさんなどが、この豪華客船に滞在すると紹介している。
