バルセロナのDFロナルド・アラウホらがウルグアイ代表から離脱した。
23日、バスク代表との親善試合を行い、1-1のドローで終えたウルグアイ代表。続いて26日にはコートジボワール代表との親善試合が控える。
ウルグアイサッカー協会(AUF)は24日、マルセロ・ビエルサ監督がコートジボワール戦での起用を考えていない5名の選手の代表離脱を発表。バスク戦でメンバー外だったアラウホの他、先発起用されたラツィオのMFマティアス・ベシーノ、オーランド・シティのFWファクンド・トーレス、ブラガのMFロドリゴ・サラサール、グラナダのDFブルーノ・メンデスが途中離脱となった。
スペイン『ムンド・デポルティボ』によると、アラウホは太ももの過負荷のため、早期にバルセロナへ帰還する運びになったとのこと。大きな問題ではないというが、予防のためにクラブで回復させる決断に至った模様だ。
ウルグアイ代表のチームディレクターを務めるホルヘ・ジョルダーノ氏は、ウルグアイ『Carve Deportiva』でアラウホの状態に言及。トレーニングは問題なく行ったと明かしている。
「彼とは10日間を共にし、14回のトレーニングを行った。これは非常に重要だった」
「たとえ彼がフィットしていたとしても、リスクを負わないよう代表の試合には出場させないことにした。彼は頼りにできる選手だ」
バルセロナが次に臨むのは、代表ウィーク明けの30日に行われるラ・リーガ第30節ラス・パルマス戦。アラウホはひとまずこの試合の出場を目指すことになりそうだ。

グラナダは27日、コリンチャンスからウルグアイ代表DFブルーノ・メンデス(24)をフリートランスファーで獲得したことを発表した。
2024年1月1日付けでの加入となるメンデスは2027年6月30日までの3年半契約を締結しているが、今シーズン終了時にクラブが2部降格となった場合、契約を解除できる条項が盛り込まれているようだ。
母国ウルグアイのモンテビデオ・ワンダラーズでプロキャリアをスタートしたメンデスは、2019年にブラジルの名門コリンチャンスへ完全移籍で加入。184cmの右利きのDFはセンターバックと右サイドバックを主戦場に、ここまで公式戦114試合に出場している。
また、2018年11月に行われたブラジル代表戦でウルグアイ代表デビューを飾り、ここまで6試合に出場している。

コリンチャンスの幹部がVARルームを襲撃...寸前で警備員が防ぐまさかの事態が発生した。スペイン『カデナ・セル』が伝えている。
13日、カンピオナート・ブラジレイロ・セリエA(ブラジル全国選手権)第34節が各地で行われ、コリンチャンスは敵地でグレミオを0-1と撃破。32分のFWアンヘル・ロメロの1発を守り抜いた。
ただ、コリンチャンスは0-0で迎えた開始10分、DFブルーノ・メンデスが悪質なタックルにより1発レッド。以後およそ80分間を10人で戦って見事に勝利したわけだが、試合後にとんでもない出来事が発生していた。
コリンチャンスのスポーツ・ディレクター(SD)を務めるアレッサンドロ・ヌネス氏が、試合中のメンデスへの1発レッド判定、あるいは他のなんらかの判定に納得できなかったのか、審判団の1人を見つけるや否や、グレミオが本拠地に設置しているVARルームへと入っていく背中を追いかけ、VARルームのドアを「開けろ!」と言わんばかりにバンバン叩く。
なんとか警備員が2人がかりで必死に静止したことで侵入は免れたが、これらはVARルームからすぐ近くのミックスゾーン(試合後の取材場)で待機していた報道陣によって撮影されており、SNSを通じて世に出ることとなった。
また、VARルーム“突破”を諦めたヌネス氏は、すぐさまカメラを向けていた撮影班を指差し、周囲の人物らに撮影を止めるよう威嚇。一瞬ではあるが、ヌネス氏以外の誰かにカメラを弾かれる様子も記録されている。
さらに、これに端を発して関係者が入り乱れる激しい言い争いにも発展。全容はわかりかねるが、収拾のつかない雰囲気となっている様子が確認できる。
ピッチ上で物々しい雰囲気になることはしばしばあるサッカーだが、今回はその舞台裏で起きたクラブ幹部による“襲撃未遂”…ヌネス氏はコリンチャンスのレジェンドとして知られ、クラブ世界一に輝いた2012年のクラブ・ワールドカップで来日したときはキャプテンも務めていた。

2022シーズンはセレッソ大阪でプレーしていたFWブルーノ・メンデス(28)が、ブラジルのグアラニにレンタル移籍することが発表された。
ブルーノ・メンデスは、2019年1月にウルグアイのデポルティボ・マルドナドからレンタル移籍でC大阪に加入。2020年も継続してレンタル移籍すると、2021年2月にはアビスパ福岡へとレンタル移籍。2022年2月には再びC大阪へとレンタル移籍していた。
Jリーグでは合計4シーズンプレーし、J1通算89試合22得点、リーグカップ通算17試合5得点を記録。2022シーズンはC大阪でリーグ戦22試合3得点、リーグカップで7試合に出場も無得点に終わっていた。
すでにデポルティボ・マルドナドへと復帰していた中、グアラニへとレンタル移籍が決定。ブルーノ・メンデスにとっては、自身が育ったクラブであり、C大阪に加入する前にもプレーしていたクラブへの復帰となった。
ブルーノ・メンデスは自身のインスタグラムを通じて喜びを綴っている。

新シーズンに向けた補強では、なんといっても元日本代表MF香川真司の復帰が一番ホットな話題。12年半の海外でのキャリアを終えて古巣に戻り、伝統の8番を再び着用した。
トップパフォーマンスからは遠い可能性もあるが、それでも高い技術を見せてくれるはず。ファンの期待は高い。さらに、アビスパ福岡の攻撃で違いを見せたMFジョルディ・クルークス、J1を制した横浜F・マリノスで11得点を決めて優勝に貢献したFWレオ・セアラを補強と、2人のクオリティの高い助っ人を獲得。計算ができる選手を連れてこれたことは非常に大きいと言える。
またパリ・オリンピック世代で武者修行先でゴールを重ねたFW藤尾翔太が復帰。さらに、高校サッカー選手権で準優勝した東山高校のMF阪田澪哉、ベスト4の神村学園のMF大迫塁と若手も才能ある選手を加えることとなった。
退団者も多いが、そのほとんどは期限付き移籍。昨季の主軸ではFWジェアン・パトリッキ、FWアダム・タガート、FW山田寛人が去ったが、パトリッキの代役にはFWカピシャーバを獲得するなど、しっかりと代役は揃えられている。
◆チーム目標:リーグ優勝、タイトル
しっかりと補強も行い、戦力アップを図ったC大阪が目指すべきは悲願の初優勝。昨シーズンも5位と上位を争っていただけに、そこからもう少し積み上げていきたいところだ。
YBCルヴァンカップでは準優勝に終わる悔しさを味わったが、あの試合では最後にひっくり返されてしまった。リーグ戦でも勝ちきれない試合が多く、いかに勝ち点0を1に、1を3にしていけるかが優勝へのカギとなる。
小菊昭雄監督の下、3年目を迎えるC大阪。ベースを積み上げてきている中で、さらにクオリティを上げていけるかがポイントになるだろう。あと気になるのはケガ人。開幕を前に多くの負傷者が出ており、長引かないことを願うばかりだ。

今シーズン期待する新戦力はやはりMF香川真司だろう。
12年半ぶり、33歳になって戻ってきた香川。昨年秋には脚の手術を行ったが、順調に回復し既にチームに合流。開幕戦から出場できる可能性も残されている。
日本代表でも共にプレーしたMF清武弘嗣がケガで離脱したことで、2人のコンビネーションが見られるのは少し先になるが、ボールを持った時のチャンスメイク、攻撃の流れを変える力は今も持っているはずだ。
シント=トロイデンでもチームメイトに頼られ、違いを生んでいた香川。ドルトムントやマンチェスター・ユナイテッドなどビッグクラブで積み上げたものをどこまでチームに還元できるか。かつては日本代表の10番を背負った男が、C大阪の8番を背負い、タイトルを手にする姿はファンが望んでいる姿だろう。

徳島ヴォルティス時代には、昨シーズンまで浦和レッズを率いたリカルド・ロドリゲス監督や、今季からガンバ大阪で指揮を執るダニエル・ポヤトス監督に重宝された鈴木。昨シーズンは25試合に出場し2得点と一定のパフォーマンスを見せていた。
今シーズンはレギュラーポジション確保が期待され、リンクマンとして機能していたパフォーマンスを遺憾なく発揮してほしいところだ。
2022シーズンは衝撃的なドライブボレーを決め、そのゴールは世界でも話題に。今シーズンはより多くの得点位絡むことも期待される。

セレッソ大阪は1日、FWブルーノ・メンデス(28)の退団を発表した。
昨季をアビスパ福岡で過ごして、今季にウルグアイのデポルティーボ・マルドナドからのレンタルで2年ぶりのC大阪復帰を果たしたブルーノ・メンデス。一次C大阪時代の2020年に明治安田生命J1リーグでチーム最多の9ゴールを決め、サポーターからも支持されたブラジル人ストライカーだが、今季は32試合に出場した公式戦を通じても5得点にとどまった。
期限付き移籍契約の満了に伴い、退団が決まったブルーノ・メンデスはクラブを通じて、別れの挨拶をしている。

熱量高い"ダービーマッチ"に終止符を打ったのは、ブラジル人FWだった。
今季の成績はここまで対照的なガンバ大阪とセレッソ大阪だが、チーム状況関係なしに勝利が求められるのがダービーだ。序盤から試合を優勢に進めたG大阪がセットプレーからクォン・ギョンウォンのヘッドで先制すると、主導権を奪い返したC大阪は52分に山田寛人のゴールで試合を振り出しに戻し、互いに勝ち越しを狙って熱いバトルが繰り広げられる。
そして迎えた試合終盤、C大阪はジェアン・パトリッキが値千金の一撃を沈めた。
90分、左サイドの最深部でボールを奪ったC大阪は、守から攻へと一気にギアチェンジ。自陣ボックス左角でパスを受けたパトリッキはブルーノ・メンデスとのワンツーも駆使して相手ゴール前まで独走し、最後はペナルティアーク手前から右隅へのコントロールショットで仕上げた。
この1点が決勝点となり、公式戦にして58度目の大阪ダービーを制したC大阪。劇的なシチュエーションでの得点には、「パトリッキがゴール決めた時は嬉しすぎた!」、「マジで良い補強した」、「絶妙な時間、素晴らしいミドルシュートだ」、「ダービーでこの勝ち方は気持ち良すぎるでしょ!!」、「パトリッキのシュート声出たわ」、「パトリックよりパトリッキが凄い」などの賛辞が相次いでいる。
今季加入したパトリッキは、リーグ戦では途中出場が多いながらも与えられたタスクを実行。3日前に行われた天皇杯ラウンド16の名古屋グランパス戦でも長い距離の持ち上がりから先制点を演出している。
負傷離脱者の影響で気がかりなC大阪だが、頼もしいアタッカーの存在はそれを払拭する勢いだ。

セレッソ大阪のブラジル人FWブルーノ・メンデスの日本愛が炸裂している。
ブルーノ・メンデスは、2019年からC大阪でプレー。2021年はアビスパ福岡でプレーしたが、今シーズン復帰。ここまで明治安田生命J1リーグで10試合に出場し2得点、YBCルヴァンカップで5試合に出場、天皇杯にも1試合に出場し1得点を記録している。
日本での4年目を迎えているブルーノ・メンデスは、「恋人の日」とされている6月12日に自身のインスタグラムを更新。妻との仲睦まじい写真を投稿した。
注目はブルーノ・メンデスの格好と訪れた場所。日の丸が描かれたTシャツを着たブラジル人ストライカーは富士山をバックにしており、「また一つ、僕たちが一緒に知ることができた場所が増え、また一つ、私の愛の素晴らしい瞬間を集めることができた」と日本の象徴でもある富士山を心に刻んだようだ。
また、「あなたがいつも私の人生にいてくれることを神様に感謝しています。恋人の日......私の永遠のガールフレンド。永遠に愛してる!」と妻への大きな感謝も綴っている。

セレッソ大阪のゴール裏サポーターから対戦相手に対し、温かい拍手が送られた。
C大阪は1日、天皇杯2回戦で大阪府代表の関西大学とヨドコウ桜スタジアムで対戦した。
序盤からボールを保持したC大阪はFW加藤陸次樹、FWブルーノ・メンデス、DF舩木翔にゴールが生まれ、前半だけで3点のリードを奪うなど、圧勝ムードかと思われた。
だが、折り返して早々の47分に1点を返されると、番狂わせを狙う相手に後手を踏み、後半だけで被シュート9本を記録。鋭い攻撃を受けながらも、辛うじて逃げ切り勝ちを収め、3回戦進出を決めた。
反撃ののろしを上げた関西大のFW西村真祈はC大阪の育成組織出身の3年生。また、ハーフタイム明けに投入された2年生のMF前田龍大もC大阪の育成組織出身で、2020年には特別指定選手にも登録されている。
両者はトップチームへの昇格は叶わなかったが、関西学生リーグで切磋琢磨。今回の古巣との対戦でも存在感を示した。
ヨドコウへと凱旋を果たした2人へ、C大阪のサポーターは試合後に横断幕を掲示。健闘した関西大選手への温かい拍手とともに「真祈、龍大おかえり これからも応援してる」とのメッセージを掲げ、成長を続ける我が子へ応援の言葉を残している。

セレッソ大阪は21日、FWブルーノ・メンデスに第二子が誕生したことを報告した。
ブルーノ・メンデスの第二子となる女の子は、19日に誕生したとのことだ。
ブルーノ・メンデスはクラブを通じてコメントしている。
「娘が産まれて来てくれて僕にとっても家族にとっても非常に嬉しいです。こうして娘が無事に産まれてきてくれたことは、まずは奥さんにとても感謝しています」
「また、セレッソ大阪のみなさんの支えがあったからとも感じています。本当に感謝しています。これからも自分のベストを尽くしてチームの力になりたいと思います」
