イングランド代表に招集されていたチェルシーのFWコール・パーマーがを負傷のため合流が叶わなかった。トーマス・トゥヘル監督が21日に行われる北中米ワールドカップ(W杯)欧州予選グループK初戦のアルバニア代表戦を前日に控えた会見で明かした。

筋肉に負傷を抱えるパーマーは16日に行われたプレミアリーグ第29節のアーセナル戦を欠場していた。

トゥヘル監督はパーマーについて｢コールは我々と一緒に居ない。我々は彼を招集するチャンスを長い間待っていた。しかし彼は居ないし、出場しない。今、彼を招集しても意味がない｣とコメント。
トゥヘル監督の初陣となるアルバニア戦、そして24日のラトビア代表戦ではパーマーを欠いて臨むことになった。

チェルシーがシティから21歳パーマーを獲得! 2030年までの7年契約を締結

ブリッジは“不倫男”テリーを未だに許さず? 自身の近くに引っ越し発覚後、自宅を売却に出す

イングランド代表のユニフォームが変? ファンが気づいた異変はベテランキットマンのまさかのミス…「間違ってしまった」
