マンチェスター・ユナイテッドは30日、ヨーロッパリーグ(EL)リーグフェイズ最終節でFCSBとのアウェイ戦に臨み、2-0で勝利した。

先週行われた前節レンジャーズ戦を競り勝ってEL4連勝とし4位に浮上したユナイテッド(勝ち点15)は、4日前のプレミアリーグではフルアムに1-0で辛勝し公式戦連勝とした。引き分け以上でラウンド16ストレートインが決まる中、フルアム戦のスタメンから5選手を変更。アマドやガルナチョに代えてエリクセンやコリアーを起用した。

ラウンド16ストレートイン圏内の8位FCSB(勝ち点14)に対し、ホイルンドを最前線に、メイヌーとエリクセンをシャドーに配置したユナイテッドがポゼッションする入りとした中、10分にピンチ。FKからポペスクにボレーで合わせられたシュートがわずかに枠を外れた。
ひやりとしたユナイテッドが引き続きボールを握る中、18分に決定機。ボックス左に抜け出したホイルンドの折り返しをメイヌーがプッシュ。しかし枠を捉えきれなかった。

さらに30分、ホイルンドがヘディングシュートで牽制したユナイテッドだったが、FCSBを崩しきれずゴールレスで前半を終えた。
迎えた後半、アマドとガルナチョを投入したユナイテッドは開始2分、相手のバックパスミスを拾ったガルナチョがポスト直撃のシュートでゴールに迫ると、59分にはブルーノ・フェルナンデスが強烈なバー直撃のミドルシュートを浴びせた。

すると直後に先制点。スローインの流れからボックス右のスペースを突いたメイヌーのクロスをダロトが押し込んだ。

63分にはビリジャに強烈なバー直撃のミドルシュートを打たれたユナイテッドだったが、68分に追加点。敵陣でボールを奪い返した流れからガルナチョのリターンクロスをメイヌーがダイレクトでゴールへ流し込んだ。

終盤にかけても攻め込んだユナイテッドがメイヌーの1ゴール1アシストの活躍で勝利。3位フィニッシュでラウンド16ストレートインとした。

「高価な食べ物はない」ギネス記録樹立、C・ロナウドのあの肉体の秘訣を専属シェフが明かす

C・ロナウドの母が息子への願望を語る「私が死ぬ前に、スポルティングへ」

「後悔が1つある」カントナが“カンフーキック”事件を回顧「もっと強く蹴っていれば…」
