ノルウェーサッカー協会(NFF)は12日、アーセナルのMFマルティン・ウーデゴールの代表離脱を発表した。
ウーデゴールは9月に行われた代表戦で左足首のじん帯を負傷。約9週間の戦線離脱を強いられたなか、先日に行われたインテル戦で戦列復帰。10日に行われたチェルシー戦ではスタメンでフル出場を果たした。
そのため、今回のインターナショナルマッチウィークにはキャプテンを務めるノルウェー代表に復帰。しかし、代表チームのメディカルスタッフによる検査の結果、長期離脱明けによる2試合を戦ったリバウンドが確認されており、スロベニアとカザフスタンとの2試合でのプレーが困難だと判断された。これにより、同選手は一足早くロンドンに戻り、アーセナルでコンディション調整に励むことになる。
無念の代表離脱が決定したウーデゴールは以下のコメントを残してる。
「代表チームのメディカルスタッフと協議した結果、残念ながら、これらの試合に出場するには状況が十分ではないという結論に至った。僕は長いトレーニング期間を過ごしてきたけど、この9週間フットボールの練習を十分にできず、まだ100%の状態ではないのは当然だ」

アーセナル、今季3rdユニフォームは緑!80年代意識のレトロスタイル

北中米W杯の欧州予選組み合わせ決定! 12カ国+POの4カ国が出場権獲得、来年3月からスタート【2026年北中米W杯欧州予選】
