新たにアルネ・スロット監督が就任した今シーズンも、プレミアリーグ開幕節のイプスウィッチ戦で先発。しかし、戦術的な理由からこの試合はハーフタイムで交代となると、以降はハイパフォーマンスを見せるコナテにポジションを奪い返される形となり、2試合出場がない状態が続いている。
イプスウィッチ戦の交代後には不機嫌な表情も見せていたクアンサーだが、現在は指揮官の判断に理解を示している模様。そのうえで、長いシーズンで再びポジションを取り戻すべく努力していきたいと語っている。

ガブリエウとヘンダーソン口論、FAは不問に…「申告された疑惑の発言は確認されなかった」
