試合後にスタンドで乱闘騒ぎが発生、ヌニェスの姿も

コパ・アメリカ2024もファイナリストが決定。準決勝のウルグアイ代表vsコロンビア代表が行われた中、試合後に大乱闘騒ぎが発生してしまった。

今大会は、北中米の国も参加したコパ・アメリカ。ブラジルが敗退するなどした中、準決勝でウルグアイとコロンビアが対戦。0-1でコロンビアが勝利し、王者のアルゼンチン代表が待つ決勝に駒を進めた。試合は、コロンビアが先制も数的不利になる戦いに。主審のコントロールの問題もあり、ところどころで荒れた展開となった中、試合後に大きな問題が待っていた。

バンク・オブ・アメリカスタジアムで行われた試合後、両国のファンが乱闘騒ぎに。すると、ウルグアイの選手たちがスタンドに乗り込み、応戦していたのだ。

『ESPN』によると、試合後のインタビューに応じていたウルグアイのホセ・マリア・ヒメネスは、「マイクで話すことを許してもらえず、遮られる前に一言言わせてほしい。今、何が起こっているのかを言わせたくないのだろうが、これは大惨事だ」と、現場で起こっていることを説明。「気をつけてもらいたい。観客席には家族がいて、生まれたばかりの赤ちゃんもいる。これは大惨事だ。警察もおらず、僕たちは家族を守る必要があった」と、家族を守るためにスタンドに乗り込んだと説明。「これは、飲み方を知らず、飲み過ぎた2、3人のせいで起きたことだ」と酔っ払いによる事件だとした。

試合終了後には、コロンビアとウルグアイの選手とスタッフもピッチ上で一悶着。熱を帯び過ぎてしまった試合となった。

なお、南米サッカー連盟(CONMEBOL)はこの件を調査しているとのこと。処分の行方は定かではないが、声明を発表している。

ウルグアイ代表の11名が処分…家族を守ろうとしたダルウィン・ヌニェスが5試合出場停止、コパ・アメリカ準決勝後に乱闘騒ぎ
