カタールのアル・ガラファは28日、レアル・マドリーのスペイン代表FWホセル(34)を完全移籍で獲得したことを発表した。
契約期間は2026年夏までの2年間となる。また、双方の合意があれば1年間の延長オプションもあるとのことだ。
セルタの下部組織で育ったホセルは、レアル・マドリー・カスティージャに加入。2012年7月にホッフェンハイムへと完全移籍し、ドイツでのキャリアを積む。
フランクフルトやハノーファーでプレーしたのち、ストーク・シティへ完全移籍。デポルティボ・ラ・コルーニャ、ニューカッスル、アラベスでもプレー。2022年7月にエスパニョールに完全移籍で加入した。
2023-24シーズンはマドリーへとレンタル移籍。当初は控えの選手と見られていたが、ラ・リーガで34試合に出場し10ゴール2アシストを記録。チャンピオンズリーグでも11試合で5ゴールを記録するなど、チームの2冠に大きく貢献していた。

アル・ヒラルが首位でリーグステージ終了! 上位3チームはサウジアラビア勢、西地区のラウンド16対戦が決まる【ACLE2024-25】
