パリ五輪の切符をつかんだなでしこジャパン
国際サッカー連盟(FIFA)は20日、パリ・オリンピック女子サッカー競技のグループリーグ分け抽選会を行った。
なでしこジャパンがすでに出場権を獲得しているパリ・オリンピック。その日本はグループCに入り、スペイン女子代表、ブラジル女子代表、そしてアフリカ予選1位(ナイジェリアor南アフリカ)と同居することとなった。
スペインは2023年夏に行われたオーストラリア&ニュージーランド女子ワールドカップ(W杯)で初優勝を達成した強豪。グループステージで対戦した際には4-0で日本が勝利していたが、その後勝ち上がり優勝を果たしていた。
また、同W杯ではグループステージ敗退となったブラジルとも同居。2023年11月から12月にかけてブラジル遠征した際には2試合を戦い、3-4、2-0と1勝1敗の成績。4月にアメリカで行われる「2024 SheBelieves Cup」にも日本と共に出場し、対戦の可能性もある。
決定していないアフリカの1カ国に関しても、ナイジェリア、南アフリカともに2023年の女子W杯に出場。共にラウンド16まで勝ち上がるも敗れていた。
なでしこジャパンを率いる池田太監督は、今回の組み合わせ抽選結果を受けてコメントしている。
「対戦国が決まり、戦いをイメージしてポジティブな緊張を改めて感じています。12チームという限られた出場国で開催されるオリンピックでは、どのチームとの対戦も常にタフな試合になります」

アディダスがなでしこジャパン専用のアウェイユニフォーム発表! コンセプトは「サンライズ」、植木理子「今までの女子サッカー界では見ないようなデザイン」

なでしこジャパン、W杯へ新スーツお披露目!「DIFFERENCE」によるエンブレムがデザインされた特別仕様

1位に輝いたのは、アストン・ビラでプレーするスイス女子代表のアリーシャ・レーマン。世界一セクシーなアスリートとしても知られ、インスタグラムのフォロワーは1340万人。元プロテニスプレーヤーのロジャー・フェデラーを超え、インスタグラムで最も人気のあるスイス人アスリートとなっている。 21世紀の出場試合数ランキング発表! 首位は1145試合のC・ロナウド、トップ10に日本人選手がランクイン

「間違いを犯しました」ゲイ告白騒動のカシージャス、「僕らの話をする時が…」と茶化したプジョールが謝罪

「僕はスペイン人」18歳ハイセンが母国オランダに決別…2月にスペイン国籍取得でU-21代表デビュー
