クリンスマン解任の韓国代表、アジアで指導者キャリア積んだカンナバーロ氏に後任オファーか

大韓サッカー協会(KFA)が、ファビオ・カンナバーロ氏(50)に新監督のオファーを出したようだ。

韓国はアジアカップ2023で準決勝敗退となったことや、チームでの求心力低下を受け、2023年2月に就任したユルゲン・クリンスマン監督(59)の解任を発表。

チームはFWソン・フンミンとMFイ・ガンインの確執が表面化するなど難しい状況にあるが、大韓サッカー協会(KFA)は3月の2026年ワールドカップ(W杯)アジア予選を前に後任の選定を急いでいる。

そんな中、イタリア『TuttoMercatoWeb』によるとKFAは新監督候補としてカンナバーロ氏にオファーを提示したとのことだ。

2006年のドイツ・ワールドカップ(W杯)をイタリア代表キャプテンとして制し、同年のバロンドールも受賞したカンナバーロ氏。現役引退後は、広州恒大(現・広州FC)や中国代表、アル・ナスルを率いるなどアジアで指導者キャリアを積んできた。

その経験をもって、2022年9月から当時セリエBに所属したベネヴェントの監督に就任。自身初となる欧州での指揮となったが、2023年2月に5カ月足らずで解任され、チームは最下位でセリエC降格となってしまった。

なお同紙によれば、現在カンナバーロ氏は今回のオファーを検討しており、3月に行われるアメリカ遠征前までに決断を下すことになると伝えている。

赤地に白のホームは「霜降り肉みたい」韓国代表の新ユニフォームはアウェイの方が人気に「アウェイは素晴らしいね」
