シェフィールド・ユナイテッドは26日、アトレティコ・マドリーのクロアチア代表GKイヴォ・グルビッチ(28)を完全移籍で獲得したことを発表した。契約期間は2027年6月までの3年半となっている。
2020年夏にロコモティヴァ・ザグレブからアトレティコに加入したグルビッチ。しかし絶対的守護神のヤン・オブラクに阻まれ、これまで公式戦14試合の出場に留まり、今季は出番がない状況だった。
ただ、2021-22シーズンはリールにレンタル移籍し、リーグ・アン21試合、チャンピオンズリーグ6試合に出場し、実力を発揮していた。
シェフィールド加入を受けてグルビッチは｢第一印象はとても良いよ。温かい歓迎に感謝する。ここに来られてとても幸せだ。僕にとって最高の挑戦となるし、素晴らしい経験になると確信している。リールでCLを経験し、昨季はアトレティコで15試合ほどプレーできた。この挑戦への準備はできていると思っている｣と意気込みを語った。

「なぜ青なんだ」「新鮮に見える」アトレティコが青×白の120周年ユニを発表!「めっちゃかっこいい」

グリーンベースのアトレティコの3rdユニフォーム発表も賛否両論「凄く好きだ」「サウジアラビアカラー」
