ドイツは9日、日本と国際親善試合で対戦。カタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)ではグループステージ初戦で対戦し、2-1で敗れた相手だ。

ホームでのリベンジマッチとなる中、日本に敗れたW杯ではグループステージ敗退。2023年に入ってからは5試合を戦い1勝しかあげていない状況に、ファンからは不満の声が溢れている。

日本との再戦となるフリック監督。改めてW杯を振り返り、日本のイメージを語り、意気込んだ。
