5月21日に行われたラ・リーガ第35節のバレンシアvsレアル・マドリーでは、信じられない数々の人種差別行為を受けたマドリーのブラジル代表FWヴィニシウス・ジュニオール。

片や、足首の負傷により、シーズン終盤は試合から離れることとなったパリ・サンジェルマン(PSG)のFWネイマール。現在はオフを迎えているセレソンのアタッカー2人は、NBAファイナルズの会場に姿を見せた。

マイアミ・ヒートに所属するジミー・バトラーとのツーショットを披露していたネイマールは来場が予想されていたが、ヴィニシウスも揃って観戦することに。様子を紹介した『ESPN』のインスタグラムには「マイアミでこのデュオに会えて嬉しい」、「ヴィニシウスとネイマール、次はマイアミへ」、「(ここでは)人種差別的な叫びは聞こえません」、「世界最高のブラジル人、ヴィニシウス・ジュニオールという男」など、様々な声が寄せられている。

また、「メッシはどこだ」、「彼らはそこにメッシを入れる必要がある」など、メジャーリーグ・サッカー(MLS)のインテル・マイアミへの正式加入が間近に迫るアルゼンチン代表FWリオネル・メッシ(パリ・サンジェルマン)についても言及がなされた。

なお、ブラジル代表は6月のインターナショナルマッチウィークで、17日にバルセロナでギニア代表戦、20日にリスボンでセネガル代表戦を戦う予定。ギニア戦の前半では人種差別反対活動の一環として真っ黒のユニフォームを着用する予定となっている。

ヴィニシウスにトラブル…クラブ買収巡る問題で2年間の出場停止求める訴え起こされる

21世紀の出場試合数ランキング発表! 首位は1145試合のC・ロナウド、トップ10に日本人選手がランクイン
