ヴァンラーレ八戸に加入したGK大西勝俉が長い車旅に臨むようだ。

大阪府出身の大西は2013年に加入した愛媛FCでプロデビュー。アスルクラロ沼津を経て、2017年に鹿児島ユナイテッドへ加入した。

鹿児島では2020シーズンから守護神の座を掴んでいたものの、2022シーズンは公式戦出場がないままシーズンが終了。鹿児島を離れ、八戸に加入にすることが決まった。

その大西は10日、自身のツイッターを更新。「さて。」と意を決したように綴ると、鹿児島から八戸へのGoogleマップの画像を添付。そこには、総距離2,023kmの所要時間23時間49分と表示されていた。

大西に投稿には多くのファンから心配やいたわりの声が。「くれぐれもお気をつけて」、「日本縦断!」、「道中、どこかでスタッドレスタイヤのご用意を」、「無理なさらずに沼津あたりで休憩を。」とコメントが寄せられている。

さらに、八戸の公式ツイッターも「気をつけて!!!!」と反応。新守護神候補の到着を心待ちにしている。

「誰!?髪の毛やば!」菅原由勢が日本代表で再会した“同期”の変貌ぶりに衝撃受ける
