クロアチア代表のズラトコ・ダリッチ監督が、カタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)3位決定戦のモロッコ代表戦へ向けて意気込みを語った。

準決勝でアルゼンチン代表に敗れて3位決定戦に回ることになったクロアチア。明日のモロッコ戦に向けた前日会見に出席したダリッチ監督は、控えメンバー中心で臨むのではないかという疑問について言及した。

｢我々にとって明日の試合はメダルの懸った重要なファイナルであり、大事な試合だ。トーナメントの大きなサプライズだったモロッコに敬意を表したい。そして、彼らも我々と同じように考えていると思うし、最高のメンバーでプレーしてくれるだろう｣
また、主将であるルカ・モドリッチの代表での去就について問われると、｢私は彼が我々と共にプレーすることを望んでいるし、それを楽しみにしている。だけど、それはルカが決めることだから、彼次第だよ｣とコメントした。
