『433』は9日、「彼らの人生で最高の瞬間」と題し、通用口で試合に臨むC・ロナウドに羨望の眼差しを向ける子供たちの様子を紹介した。

子供たちはスターに夢中。その姿には「彼はいつも最高です」、「SNSで5億人のフォロワーを持つ人は、普通の人ではありません。だからcr7は本物です」といった声が届いている。

一方で「彼の手を見てください」との指摘も。「ロナウドが子供たちに指を差し出す」、「その指」、「指に気づいたのは私だけですか?」、「中指どうした??」との、C・ロナウドの左手に注目するコメントも挙がった。

瞬間を切り抜いた写真のために選手の意図は図りようがないが、そう見えるような素材を用いたメディアに対して「その指は433管理者に対するロナウドの答えです」と辛辣な声を投げかけるものもいた。

カタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)の開幕直後にマンチェスター・ユナイテッドとの騒動があり、代表でも先発を外れた際には不協和音と、こぞって報じられるC・ロナウド。スターの宿命か、10日に行われる準々決勝のモロッコ代表戦へ向けても、ピッチ内外で注目を集め続けている。
