敗退危機のベルギー、ルカクがクロアチア戦で先発か

インテルのベルギー代表FWロメル・ルカクが12月1日に行われるカタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)グループF最終節クロアチア代表戦で先発する可能性があるようだ。ベルギー代表を率いるロベルト・マルティネス監督がベルギー『RTBF Sport』に語った。

度重なるケガに見舞われトップコンディションをなかなか取り戻せずにいるルカク。ただ、0-2で敗れた27日のモロッコ代表戦では後半36分から途中出場していた。

そのルカクについてマルティネス監督は以下のように述べた。

｢どのチームでも影響力のある選手がピッチに居る必要がある。ロメルが戻ってきてくれて嬉しいよ。選択肢は多ければ多いほど良い。残り2日のトレーニングの様子を見てロメルがクロアチア戦で先発できるか見てみたい｣

モロッコに敗れて1勝1敗の3位ベルギーは、首位クロアチアに勝利すれば逆転でのグループズテージ突破となる。

「ショック」「史上最悪」クロアチア代表のW杯ユニ、伝統の市松模様が不均衡なホームは酷評の嵐…アウェイには好意的意見

クロアチアサッカー連盟、在任9年シューケル会長が解任…マドリーで活躍した同国レジェンドFW

クロアチアサッカー連盟(HNS)は29日、ダヴォール・シューケル会長(53)の解任を発表した。後任は専務理事を務めていたマリヤン・クスティッチ氏(46)が務めることになる。現役時代にディナモ・ザグレブやセビージャ、レアル・マドリー、アーセナルなどで活躍し、クロアチア代表最多ゴール記録(45点)を持つ同国のレジェンドストライカーのシューケル氏は2012年にHNSの会長職に就任。以降、9年間に渡ってクロアチアサッカー界のために尽力してきたが、その一方で同国の大物ズドラヴコ・マミッチ氏との黒い噂などクロアチアに蔓延る不正への関与も疑われてきた。今回の解任理由に関して詳細は明かされていないが、クロアチアメディアが伝えるところによれば、シューケル氏は同国サッカー界が抱える幾つもの課題、とりわけ脆弱なインフラ整備に関する対応など、主に実務面が問題視されての更迭だったようだ。 2021.07.31 14:15 Sat
