フットボール界にとって4年に一度の祭典であるW杯は今回、中東の地が初の開催となり、カタールが舞台に。だが、猛暑対策から欧州のシーズンを一旦止めての開催や、移民労働者、LGBTQ、女性軽視の問題でも懸念の声が相次いでいる。
開幕まであと1週間を切るなか、国際サッカー連盟(FIFA)から出場国に対してフットボールに集中するようにとの通達もなされているが、ブルーノ・フェルナンデスは疑念を抱いた。
「W杯でプレーしたい時期じゃない。選手にとっても、ファンにとっても、誰にとってもベストな時期じゃないと思う。子供たちは学校に行き、人々は働いているんだ。観戦に最適なタイミングじゃないよ」

スパーズが今夏デッドライン・デイの主役に! 『BBC』がディバラ獲得合意間近と報道
トッテナムがユベントスに所属するアルゼンチン代表FWパウロ・ディバラ(25)の獲得に関してクラブ間、個人間双方で合意に迫っているようだ。イギリス『BBC』が伝えている。 昨シーズン、ユベントスでの序列を下げたディバラ。最近までマンチェスター・ユナイテッドに所属するベルギー代表FWロメル・ルカクとのトレード案が、ディバラの合意を残すのみというところまで迫るも、同選手側の高額な給与と代理人への手数料が要求されたことで破談に終わった。 そのディバラに関して移籍市場最終盤に獲得に乗り出したトッテナムは、クラブ間、個人間双方で合意に近づいているという。 一部で7500万ユーロ(約89億円)と言われる高額な移籍金に関しては、スポルティング・リスボンのポルトガル代表MFブルーノ・フェルナンデスの獲得を諦めたことで浮いた資金。また、ベティスから加入が迫るアルゼンチン代表MFジオバニ・ロ・セルソの獲得を買い取り義務付きのレンタルという形にしたことで、移籍金の支払いを来夏に先送りするという手法を取ることで、今夏に支払える金額を増額したようだ。 なお、ディバラとの交渉に関してはサラリー面と肖像権の取り扱いに関して細部を詰める必要があるようだが、現地時間8日17時の締め切りまでに交渉をまとめられる可能性はありそうだ。 2019.08.08 16:58 Thu

「高価な食べ物はない」ギネス記録樹立、C・ロナウドのあの肉体の秘訣を専属シェフが明かす
ギネス世界記録も樹立した世界的スターであるポルトガル代表FWクリスティアーノ・ロナウドだが、トップに立ち続ける秘訣はトレーニングだけではない。 今夏12年ぶりに古巣のマンチェスター・ユナイテッドへと復帰したC・ロナウド。アルコールを摂取しないことや、厳しいトレーニングを誰よりも行っていることは有名な話だ。 今夏のユーロ2020では、記者会見時に自身が嫌っているコカ・コーラのボトルを退けたことが大きな話題に。株価にも多大なる影響を与えたとして、その影響力の高さを示した。 そのC・ロナウドだが、最も気をつけていると言っても良いのが食事だ。 C・ロナウドは、レアル・マドリーからユベントスへ移籍した際、1人のシェフを雇った。そのシェフは、ジョルジオ・バローネ氏。住み込みのシェフとして採用されたという。 まるで彫刻のような鍛え抜かれた肉体。36歳という年齢を考えれば、驚異とも言えるその姿の秘訣は、トレーニングではなく食事制限だった。 バローネ氏はイギリス『ミラー』でその秘密にてコメント。「高価な食べ物はない」と語り「健康食だ。私は有機食品と自然食品を使用している。魚、鶏肉、仔牛肉、卵、アボカド、ココナッツオイル、黒米などだ」と食材について明かした。 また、その気の遣い方については「フェラーリのケアをするように、体のケアをしなければいけない」とコメント。どれだけ気を配っているかが分かる。 C・ロナウドが好む食材は、魚、赤身のタンパク質料理、全粒穀物、サラダとのこと。タンパク質は筋肉の構築と修復の両方を助け、年齢による劣化を遅らせるという。 またカロリーの燃焼にも役立つと言い、「私はココナッツオイルを使って料理します。たくさんの水を飲むことも重要ですが、浄化されている。そしてたくさん飲む」とコメント。ただ、トレーニングもあってのものだと言い「もちろん、それはすべてハードなトレーニングと組み合わされています。しかし、休息は、午後を含め、トレーニングや栄養と同じくらい基本的です。そして、遅くではなく、夕方の早い時間に食事をします」とコメント。食事のタイミングや休むことも大事だとした。 世界記録となる代表通算「111」ゴールを記録したのも、トレーニング以外で努力をしている賜物。12年ぶりのプレミアリーグでもキレキレのパフォーマンスを見せてくれるだろうか。 <span class="paragraph-title">【写真】C・ロナウドの胃袋を支えるシェフと料理</span> <span data-other-div="photo"></span> <blockquote class="instagram-media" data-instgrm-captioned data-instgrm-permalink="https://www.instagram.com/p/CPQf-zfpqrI/?utm_source=ig_embed&utm_campaign=loading" data-instgrm-version="13" style=" background:#FFF; 神々しい局部、C・ロナウド像の下半身が輝きを放つ「全員が爆笑した」
