今季のアーセナルで出遅れてしまった日本代表DF冨安健洋だが、指揮官からはユーティリティ性を高く評価されているようだ。
アーセナル加入初年度の昨季、序盤から右サイドバックで出番を掴んだ冨安。その昨季終盤のケガから今季の出遅れを余儀なくされ、その間に右サイドバックのポジションをイングランド代表DFベン・ホワイトに明け渡してしまっている。
チームも直近のプレミアリーグ第6節でリーグ戦初黒星を喫するまで開幕5連勝で首位を走り、冨安は復帰後もサブスタートが続いたが、ヨーロッパリーグ(EL)のチューリッヒ戦では今季初先発。今後はリーグ戦でのスタメンが期待される。
そんななか、ミケル・アルテタ監督が18日に行われるプレミアリーグ第8節のブレントフォード戦に先立った会見で冨安の万能性を口に。クラブ公式サイトがスペイン人指揮官のコメントを伝えている。

「嫌いな人いるの?」アーセナル主将ウーデゴールの優しさがファンの心を掴む!シティ戦ではミスした冨安健洋を鼓舞して話題

みんな気づいていた? プレミアリーグが中継時に使用する20クラブのゴールアニメーションを制作、各クラブを象徴したものに

中村俊輔に憧れたティアニー、古巣セルティックの日本人について冨安健洋から情報収集「トミと話をして、一緒に試合を観るけど…」

アーセナル、今季3rdユニフォームは緑!80年代意識のレトロスタイル

ウィリアム・サリバ、チームメイトの自慰行為が映った過去の動画が流出…FFFが調査開始
